Taiwan: Practitioners Introduce Falun Gong at the Annual Celebration of the Xinzhu County Hairdressing Trade Association (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 20, 2004, the Xinzhu County Hairdressing Trade Association held its annual celebration and invited Falun Gong practitioners to participate. The practitioners prepared an exercise demonstration and a music performance, including a performance by ten little practitioners.

At 7 p.m., the celebration started. First on the program was the practitioners' exercise demonstration. In order to help everyone understand what Falun Gong is all about, one practitioner introduced the principles of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance and discussed how cultivation practice promotes physical and mental health. Several members of the audience followed along with the exercise demonstration.

The young practitioners' music performance followed the exercise demonstration. The children sang the song, "Falun Dafa is Great." The youngest one among them was 3 years old and the eldest was a student in the sixth grade. Their solid performance won warm applause and acclaim. The program concluded with the practitioners singing "Dedu." Practitioners also distributed truth-clarification materials throughout the performance venue. Many in the audience expressed their interest in practicing Falun Dafa and they earnestly read the Dafa literature. A banner with the words "Falun Dafa is Great" was displayed during the entire performance.
