Australia: Inspired by a Falun Gong Flyer in China, A Friend Visits to Show His Support

(Clearwisdom.net) Hearing a knock at the door, I went to open it and saw a face that I had not seen for a while. It was a friend of mine, a devout Catholic.

Before I had a chance to ask how he and his family were, he started to tell me this story. He had just come back from China. The last city he visited was Harbin. He took out a piece of paper that had been folded a few times. "One day, I was walking along the Songhua River and saw this flyer on a lawn. Although I have read many of your truth-clarifying flyers, this one is extraordinary. It demonstrated how brave and persistent the practitioners are in China. They are risking their lives to place flyers at the tourist sites to tell people about the beauty of Falun Dafa and the truth about the persecution, and to appeal for an end to the persecution. This is so remarkable. Although I am Catholic, I agree with truthfulness-compassion-forbearance. What the Chinese Communist Party is doing to you is unreasonable and totally inhuman." As he was talking, he shook his head. "I have a few friends who are Falun Gong practitioners. This time in China, I got to know a few more. They are all kind people. Some of my relatives also practice. They had friends who practiced too, some of them were high-ranking officials in the government. He went on to say, "The Chinese Communist Party has no conscience at all. Their days are numbered for hurting these good people."

He made a point to come to see me to show me this flyer that he picked up in Harbin, thousands of miles away and to make sure I would write about it to show his admiration for those who distributed the flyers.
