(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 20, 1999, the Political and Judiciary Committee of Daqing City has been complying with Jiang's regime to secretly enact genocidal policies against Falun Gong practitioners who remain steadfast in their cultivation of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." These policies include the following directives: "Defame their reputation, bankrupt them financially and eliminate them physically," "beating them to death is insignificant, simply report it as suicide" and "waive the ID check, cremate the body directly."

Prior to November 2004, the number of practitioner deaths by torture in Daqing City totaled at least 25, which constitutes 15.72% of the death toll in the province. Moreover, a large number of Falun Gong practitioners have had their salaries withheld, were illegally fined, fired, tortured, sent to forced labor, and sentenced to prison.

Some individuals in the public security, prosecution and court systems have begun to reflect on their crimes against Falun Dafa, so the persecution has become less and less sustainable. However, the Political and Judiciary Committee of Daqing City has since taken direct control over the illegal trials involving Falun Gong practitioners. Consequently, each level of the courts can announce verdicts only after they obtain consent from the Political and Judiciary Committee. The court system has completely become a tool for the Political and Judiciary Committee. A judge commented, "We should let the Political and Judiciary Committee conduct the trials directly because our work doesn't count."

In 2004 to present, under the direction of the Political and Judiciary Committee, two practitioners (Gao Shuqin and Wang Guofang) were persecuted to death. Additionally, a large group of practitioners (including Liu Fenglin, Han Jianmin, Xu Jishan, Wang Enjun and Zhang Weixia) were sentenced, and a few practitioners (including Yang Bo, He Zhihong, Tang Zengye and Cai Xiaoyan) were sent to forced labor. Among them, Tang Zengye and Cai Xiaoyan have regained their freedom through their righteous thoughts.
