The parents of Li Yongtao started practicing Falun Gong in 1998. His father Li Zaimin was born in 1970 and is a teacher. His mother A Ying is a housewife. On July 23, 2004, at 5 p.m., Li Yongtao's parents were both arrested for distributing materials clarifying the facts about Falun Gong to people. Three months have passed, and their situation is unknown, since the family is not allowed to visit them.
