Turkey: Falun Dafa Festival in Ankara (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 4 and 5, practitioners in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, held a two-day Falun Dafa Festival to teach Falun Gong exercises and clarify the truth about the persecution. Western practitioners in Turkey took the initiative to contact a shopping center for permission and informed their relatives and friends to come to learn Falun Gong. The manager of the shopping center was very supportive and took the initiative to offer their facilities for practitioners to use. He said that he would contact practitioners to learn the practice. Moreover, he also selected the best spot, the spot next to the entrance of the shopping center, for the activity. Practitioners told the manager that Falun Gong is free of charge and every practitioner had come to promote Falun Dafa voluntarily. The manager was very touched by this and said: "So we won't charge you guys, either."

During the festival, practitioners talked with people about Falun Gong and demonstrated the exercises. Many people were delighted and stopped to watch the demonstration and inquire for more information. The site was very peaceful and serene. A lot of people were attracted to the site by the melody of Pudu and Jishi [Falun Dafa music] as well. A new western practitioner commented: This is my favorite music. You know, I listen to them everyday in my office." He also took photos of the practice scene with his cell phone, and said that he would show these pictures to his family and coworkers, and he would also select one to use as the background picture of his computer monitor.

A western woman practitioner had arranged to participate in a free cosmetic promotion of a famous US movie star on December 4, and this was her favorite star. On the evening of December 3, she told me that she cancelled that appointment and would participate in the Dafa event in the following day. She added: "Dafa is more important than anything else."
