Two Policemen Who Actively Persecuted Dafa Practitioners Die in a Car Accident in Huolinguole City, Inner Mongolia

On August 29, 2004, around 10:30 p.m., a cargo truck hit a police vehicle near Alatan Dam South 2-3 on Highway 304. Inside the police vehicle were two police officers from Huolinguole City in Inner Mongolia. Their vehicle turned upside down after being hit by the tail end of the truck. Both policemen, Bai Ritu and Bao Qianguo, were thrown out of the vehicle onto the highway and died at the scene.

Bai Ritu was the secondary team lead of the Police Squad Team. He was very active in persecuting Dafa practitioners. He participated in abducting practitioner Ms. Jia Haiying, and dragged her towards the stairs while she was naked, as more than forty armed policemen looked on.

Bao Qianguo was a policeman in the detention center. He pretended to be friendly towards practitioners while he monitored them and reported on them to his supervisors. As a result, many Dafa practitioners were persecuted severely in the detention center, and some were illegally sent to forced labor camps.

Policeman Working in Weifang Prison in Shandong Province Was Injured Severely in a Car Accident

Gao Shuhong, male, around forty years old, worked as a police sergeant in Weifang Prison, Shandong Province. After being promoted to deputy director of the prison hospital, he actively persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in order to build himself up in the eyes of his superiors. In October of 2000, he was assigned to the brainwashing center held by his work unit to monitor Dafa practitioners who were members of the same work unit. They were detained illegally and forced to attend brainwashing sessions. Several of the practitioners, who are also police officers, were his co-workers. They often kindly advised him not to persecute practitioners, but he did not listen. After working in the brainwashing sessions, Gao returned to the hospital and continued to illegally monitor a practitioner, who also worked in the hospital.

In 2004, Gao Shuhong was injured seriously in an accident while driving on a business trip.

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
