Mr. Peng Derong Suffers Mental Collapse Due to Injection of Drugs at Labor Camp
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Peng Derong, about 30 years old, is a Falun Gong
practitioner from Jingtouwei Township, Dong'an County, Hunan Province. At the end of 2001, Zhou Jiangbo, a section chief in the Dong'an Police
Department, and other policemen, including Ji Liu abducted Mr. Peng from his
home for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials in the town. In
detention, Mr. Peng refused to give up Falun Gong and was sent to Changsha
Forced Labor Camp in Hunan Province for one year. When his one-year term was
about to expire, his family was notified to come take him home. His family was
specifically told to come on time on the scheduled day. On his way home, Mr.
Peng suddenly and unexpectedly suffered a mental collapse. At home, he laughed
one moment and cried the next. He wandered around on the streets all day long.
After more than a month, he returned to his senses and remembered that he had
been injected with unknown drugs before he was released from Changsha Forced
Labor Camp. After that, Peng Derong frequently left home, only to return a few days
later. Two months ago, he left home again but has not returned since. November 25, 2004
