Anti-Torture Exhibition during EU-China Summit Touches People's Hearts (Photos) By a practitioner from the Netherlands (Clearwisdom.net) On December 8, 2004, when European Union - China
summit was held in The Hague, Falun Gong practitioners from the Netherlands,
Belgium and Germany held an anti-torture exhibition on the plaza in front of The
Hague Parliament Building. Practitioners also conducted truth-clarifying
activities on December 6 and 7 at the same location. People including staff
members in the Parliament building were shocked upon watching the anti-torture
exhibition. One after another, they condemned Jiang faction's persecution of
Falun Gong practitioners and signed the petition calling for an end to the
suppression. A number of media outlets including a TV station from Finland came
to take photos or videotaped the event. Here are some stories during the truth-clarification process to share with
all. After the activity was concluded, practitioners took train to go back. They
saw some newspapers on the seats of the train. When they looked at the
newspaper, they saw a big picture showing practitioners' exercise demonstration
entitled, "Falun Gong practitioners protest the Chinese Government" (Editors'
Note: In fact, Falun Gong practitioners protest against the persecution of Falun
Gong). That was a free newspaper that is widely distributed. Posting date: 12/13/2004 |
