Villager Recovers from Stroke in Three Days by Affirming, "Falun Dafa is Good" in His Mind

One night in mid-October 2004, a villager from Xinxing Village, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province had a stroke that paralyzed one side of his body. He was hospitalized and had a CT scan that diagnosed a blood clot in his brain. For just that one night's treatment, he paid 1300 yuan. Because his family is very poor, he refused to take any medications, and the next day he checked himself out of the hospital. When his relatives and neighbors went to see him, he could move neither his left hand nor his fingers. People tried unsuccessfully to persuade him to take medication. His overriding concern was to maintain his responsibility as the family's breadwinner. One day a Falun Dafa practitioner went to visit him. The practitioner gave him a lucky charm, and told him to repeat sincerely in his mind, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance are good." After doing as instructed, the villager announced, "I can return to work tomorrow." A miracle had occurred. The next day he was back operating a machine and doing repair work. Now he's even back to riding his motorcycle.

Everyone who knew him truly came to realize how, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance are good."

Saved by a Lucky Charm

At noon, on October 27, 2004, prior to my becoming a Falun Dafa practitioner, I went to the bank to get some money. As I was crossing the street, preoccupied with how I would use the money, all of a sudden I saw two trucks rushing toward me, only about six feet away. Because I had stepped out right in front of them, the drivers could not stop in time to keep from hitting me. I closed my eyes, thinking that I was about to die. I heard people screaming as they saw what was happening. When I opened my eyes, the trucks had disappeared, and I was standing there absolutely unharmed. At that moment, I remembered that a few days earlier a Falun Gong practitioner had given me a lucky charm to carry.

From then on, I told everybody that through this good luck charm, it was Teacher Li who saved me. Falun Dafa is good, and I have since begun practicing.
