Torture Method: "Firewheels" at the Liaoyuan Forced Labor Camp in Jilin Province (Reenactment Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) I saw with my own eyes the torture method while I was illegally detained at the No. 2 Division at the Liaoyuan Forced Labor Camp. The guards instigated criminals to apply this torture method to persecute steadfast Falun Gong practitioners.

The torture method is named "Lighting 'Firewheels."

The specific procedure of the torture involves ripping a piece of plastic cloth into strips. Then a criminal on night duty put these plastic strips between a practitioner's toes, and then lit them. The burning plastic slices melted and dripped on the practitioner's skin, and the practitioner jumped up due to the severe pain. Blisters immediately formed on the practitioner's feet. That practitioner could not walk normally for several days.
