(Clearwisdom.net) It was raining. But in the rain, you could see a large bright lotus flower lamp moving slowly. Before it, four female Falun Gong practitioners in elegant pink costumes were dancing, small lotus flower lamps in their hands. After it, six male Falun Gong practitioners in golden yellow exercise suits stretched their arms to the sky, demonstrating the exercise named "Buddha Showing a Thousand Hands."

This was a scene from the Christmas Lights Parade in Salem, the capital city of Oregon. The large lotus flower lamp made by practitioners had been in lighted parades many times. Compared to those large and brightly decorated and lighted floats, it was stately and eye-catching, simple but elegant. It is quiet, but casts a light into people's heart. In every parade, the lovely lotus flower wins praise and blessings from the spectators.

The Falun Gong procession made a beautiful impression on the spectators in the rain. The largest newspaper of Salem, the Statesman's Journal, published a report the next day. The article had a picture and introduced the Falun Dafa dancers. It also reported that the Falun Gong entry won the "Best Costume Award."
