Practitioner Hu Yuxia from Jiuquan City, Gansu Province Died from the Persecution in 2002


(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Hu Yuxia was a 51-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Jiuquan City, Gansu Province. For not giving up Falun Dafa cultivation practice, State Security Department personnel from Jiuquan City abducted her in August 2000. They tried to extort a confession from her under torture, causing her much suffering. Then she was unlawfully held in a detention center. All these abuses severely damaged her both physically and mentally. She was released several weeks later. During the days following her release, personnel from the 610 Office, the police department, and the state security department constantly harassed Hu Yuxia, terrorizing her family, who then cooperated with the authorities to try to make her renounce her belief. Because of the long-term spiritual torment and physical tortures, Hu Yuxia passed away in November 2002.
