Practitioner Mr. Cui Cunyi from Mudanjiang City Died as a Result of the Persecution - Funeral Held Two and a Half Years Later

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Cui Cunyi's funeral was held at the Mudanjiang City Funeral Home on December 2, 2004. Ever since Mr. Cui Cunyi died in May 2002, two and a half years ago, his body has been in the funeral home.

Right before May 13, 2002, personnel from the Dongan Branch of the Police Department in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province abducted Mr. Cui. He was brutally tortured to death in the Nanshan Police Yangming Precinct. According to the forensic medical expert's report, Cui Cunyi suffered multiple broken ribs from beatings. One of his ribs was broken into three pieces, another one was broken into two. One of his lungs had turned black, his eyes were red and swollen, and his legs had turned black. The scene was too gruesome to behold.

His family members went to appeal to provincial and Beijing authorities many times. They also went to appeal to the State Council, the National People's Congress and the Supreme People's Prosecutor, but the policeman who beat people up still got off scot-free. The Nanshan Police Station has now been moved to Tielinghe Town in Mudanjiang City. Most of the former personnel have been transferred or moved out.
