Restoring Falun Gong's Reputation Is Not the Goal; Fa-Rectification Practitioners' Mission Is to Save Beings and Create a Reference for the Future

(Clearwisdom.net) As the grand force of Fa-rectification progresses forward, there are fewer evil elements. This has manifested in the human world in the following ways: Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou have been sued in various countries, Jiang has stepped down, and Falun Gong's name may be cleared in China. As Fa-rectification Dafa disciples, what kind of mindset should we have when we look at the present situation? Actually, the so-called "redressing Falun Gong" is simply using the ordinary world's forms to rectify people's minds and to save more beings on an even larger scale. "Redressing Falun Gong" is absolutely not a grace granted by someone or a political party. It is an inevitable result from practitioners' breaking through the old forces' arrangements and opposing the persecution for the past five years. Every being comes here for the Fa, and whatever position they take when faced with Falun Dafa, they are facing the choice of assimilation or opposition. If a government official actively did justice for Falun Gong, then that is their inherent duty as a human being, and Dafa will bless his future. "On the surface, we're seeking support for Dafa from the world's people. This is the thinking of the worldly human side, manifest in this human place. Yet it's reversed on the other side. Whoever supports Dafa or advocates for Dafa is establishing for himself his being's existence in the future and is laying a foundation for obtaining the Fa in the future." (From Guiding the Voyage) Being attached to clearing Falun Gong's name is the manifestation of one's being selfishly attached to the ending time and one's personal consummation. If it ends today, how many people who are deceived will be weeded out? If it ends today, how many practitioners who have made the great, sacred vows but still have not stepped forward by now will be destroyed? If it ends today, have we reached the new cosmos's beings' standard of being selfless? "My Dafa disciples who have strong human thoughts: the path I'm leading you down heads toward godhood, yet some students just tenaciously cling to human notions...and when hardly any of the evil remains in Fa-rectification as Dafa disciples validate the Fa with righteous thoughts and clean out the evil, and as the world's people begin to see things clearly, you are putting your hope for an end to the persecution in ordinary people." (From "In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not human") "For a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple, personal liberation is not the goal of cultivation: when you came, saving sentient beings was your great aspiration, and that is the responsibility and mission history has bestowed upon you in Fa-rectification. Thus great numbers of beings are to be saved by you. Dafa disciples, don't forsake the magnificent responsibility that has been bestowed upon you in Fa-rectification" (From "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People") At present, no matter what kind of situation practitioners are facing in the ordinary world, our minds should not be swayed by it. We should continue to use legal means to clear away the remaining damage and continue to do well the three things. Every step we take will become a reference for the future. "The various correct states that you are displaying at this time in each and every regard, and how you handle things in all kinds of situations, are all being left for history." (From Guiding the Voyage) The closer we are to the end, the more steadily, firmly, and righteously we should walk well each step of ours in the future, because we are creating and blazing a pure, upright and bright path for the cosmos' beings in the future.
