Call from a Disabled Orphan


(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Zhong Lei. I was born in the spring of 1989, and I am almost 16 years old. My birth did not present a happy start to my life due to a congenital disability. But my parents gave me much love, and their love accompanied me for 12 wonderful years.

In March 2001, a tragedy happened. My father died of an illness. In October the same year, my mother, Lei Zhifen, was detained because she believes in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and did not want to give up practicing Falun Gong. She is still at the Yang Ai Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province. Since then, I lost all of the happiness my family gave me and am now an orphan.

My sixteenth spring is coming. I strongly appeal to stop persecuting my mother and release her now. Please give me a warm spring!
