A lawyer on behalf of French Falun Gong practitioners said on Thursday night that a local court has accepted four Falun Gong practitioners' lawsuits against the Chinese Minister of Cultural Sun Jiazheng and the former Deputy Premier Li Lanqing. In addition they demanded the relevant Chinese judicial departments to offer assistance and help to investigate the on-going persecution against Falun Gong in China.

According to a Reuters' report on Friday, the lawyer representing Falun Gong practitioners admitted that the possibility of gaining the cooperation of the relevant Chinese judicial departments is very small. However, because of the judicial agreement of cooperation that China and France signed not long ago, they will still urge France's Attorney General to demand China to pay respect to the judicial agreement of cooperation.
