Tainan, Taiwan: A Hundred Falun Gong Practitioners Demonstrate the Exercises at Sports Meet in Dongguang Elementary School (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 19, 2004, more than a hundred Falun Gong practitioners took part in the sports meet held by Dongguang Elementary School in Tainan City and demonstrated the exercises. As the sports meet was held during the evening, Falun Gong practitioners placed handmade lotus lanterns around them while demonstrating the exercises. The warm and soft light emitted from the lanterns added a purity and peacefulness to the practitioners' exercise demonstration.

Many teachers in the Dongguang Elementary school practice Falun Dafa, and the principal very much supports Falun Dafa. He once provided the venue for a Teachers' Falun Dafa Study Camp. Students from Tainan Minghui School once practiced the exercises, studied the Fa and clarified the truth in the school during their vacation. There are also two practice sites, in the morning and afternoon, at the school.

After the exercise demonstration, retired teacher Ms. Wang told all the teachers and students, parents and guests present that such a peaceful practice, that can improve people's physical and mental health, has been subjected to brutal persecution in Mainland China. She said that practitioners hoped that everyone could learn about the truth and extend their help to support Falun Gong and the good people who cultivate themselves according to "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and help stop the brutal persecution as soon as possible.
