By a German practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) The 10th of December was World Human Rights Day. To further expose the brutal torture, harassment and persecution against Falun Gong, which has been carried out by Jiang's faction and the Communist Party for the last five years, Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the famous tourist spot of Cologne Cathedral on the 10th and 11th of December. They held a two-day anti-torture exhibition to let more people know about the methods of torture used to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up their beliefs, so as to have more people help to end the persecution as soon as possible.

Torture methods reenactment

When practitioners were setting up the exhibition, several tourists from Mainland China came to have a look. The practitioners took the opportunity to give them some leaflets, and these Chinese people all happily accepted them. They also asked practitioners: "Is it really good to practice Falun Gong? Are there any foreigners practicing it?" When they had listened to the practitioners' answers and saw western practitioners with their own eyes, their doubts lessened. They promised to tell their relatives in China about the persecution, and several of them began to read the display board carefully.

Chinese tourists learning the truth

These two days were at the end of the week and a German traditional Christmas market was being held on the other side of the church, so there was a great increase in the number of people who came to visit the church or to go shopping. At the spot where practitioners staged the anti-torture exhibition, visitors were shocked upon seeing the scenes of torture and expressed their sympathy to practitioners and indignation at the persecution. Visitors came in groups one after another, among which there were also Chinese visitors. Many people took photos of the exhibition.

Signing a petition calling for an immediate end of the persecution

It is now winter and it was freezing in the big square in front of the cathedral. Although people were wearing coats, they were still shaking due to the cold. However, the cold could not prevent kind-hearted people from supporting justice. People came to sign the petition one after another. Once, I saw three Germany boys signing their names on our petition. Shaking due to the cold and hardly able to hold the pen tightly, they signed their names carefully stroke by stroke.

Clarifying the truth

When a couple in their 50s saw the anti-torture exhibition, they were shocked and hurried to ask a practitioner what was going on. They also told the practitioner that their children are doing business in China. When they had learned about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, they asked sincerely, "What can we do?" The couple signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution and said that they will tell their children in China about Falun Gong.

A middle-aged gentleman who appeared to be a scholar passed by and was shocked to see the anti-torture exhibition. He talked to practitioners for a long time. He said: "If all these are true, I am going to write to the Chinese leader. Please tell me his name..."

As practitioners are making more efforts in different forms to raise awareness about the persecution, more and more people are awakening to the truth, speaking out for justice and condemning the evil persecution against Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance conducted by the Jiang regime and the Chinese Communist Party.
