By a Falun Gong practitioner in Texas

(Clearwisdom.net) On a bright sunny day in Canyon Lake, a town in the mountain areas of central Texas, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Christmas Parade for the first time on December 11, 2004. Their well-decorated float shone in morning sun and won high praise from the parade spectators.

Parade spectators were happy to learn about Falun Dafa.

Falun Gong practitioners from Austin, San Antonio and Canyon Lake demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on the float. A "fairy dance" team from Austin danced in front of the float. Together, they formed a spectacular sight.

Parade spectators were very impressed with the lotus float. Many people said, "This is my favorite float." "Beautiful!" Falun Gong practitioners won the "Future Award" of the parade.

People were fascinated with the beautiful exercises and dance. It was the first time that many people in this little town had heard about Falun Dafa. They were very eager to find out more. When practitioners distributed flyers, people said, "I was wondering what was so beautiful." Falun Gong practitioners also told people about the brutal persecution of innocent Falun Gong practitioners in China.
