Little Sun Qing Lost Her Father, Sun Youfa, to the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Youfa, from Lishu County, Jilin Province, was tortured to death on January 13, 2001, when he was only 24 years old.

Sun Qing lives with her mother, Xu Yanhong, who teaches at the Taiping Town Second Middle School in Lishu County. She is remarried and lives in the Weijia Village, Taiping Town.

Qing's father, Sun Youfa, used to work for the Sanwandun Industrial Alcohol Factory in Lishu County. On December 31, 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. He went to Tiananmen Square, unfurled a Dafa banner and called out, "Falun Dafa is good!" He endured savage persecution by the police: they confiscated his money, clothes, shoes and even socks, force- fed him saltwater, handcuffed his hands and feet together, and shocked him with high-voltage electric batons. On January 6, 2001, Mr. Sun was tortured to the brink of death. The police then left him at the train station. A kind-hearted driver called another practitioner in Beijing, and he was brought back home. Sun Youfa died in the early morning on January 13, 2001. His daughter was barely 2 months old then.
