Russia: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Moscow City Center (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On December the 18th 2004, practitioners held activities in a square in front of the Art Theatre in Moscow's city center.

Introducing Falun Gong and clarifying the truth in central Moscow.

Some people in Moscow are still deceived by the slanderous lies fabricated by former Chinese President Jiang Zemin and his cronies to defame Falun Gong. After visiting a Falun Gong experience sharing conference in New York, some of the Russian practitioners realized that they should extensively and thoroughly introduce Falun Dafa and clarify the truth to Russian government, the Moscow government, as well as citizens in all communities, just like what practitioners are doing in Manhattan.

We should let more people understand that Falun Dafa is great and help people to be aware of the brutal persecution launched by the Jiang's group against Falun Gong practitioners, so as not to be deceived by the fabricated lies and help stop the persecution.

The activities on Saturday were held in the center of the city, which was crowded with people. Over two thousand flyers in Chinese and Russian were given out within three hours. Many passers-by looked at the eye-catching banners in Chinese and Russian: "Falun Dafa is Good!", "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance", "Stop the persecution against Falun Gong", "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to justice!" A set of poster boards showing pictures of over one hundred cruel torture methods being employed against Falun Gong practitioners in China also attracted attention.

As practitioners spoke to people one-on-one, those who came to know the truth signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.
