Senior Official Mr. Feng Min Died from Persecution

Mr. Feng Min was a Falun Dafa practitioner in the Nankai District of Tianjin. He died from police harassment and threats for practicing Falun Gong. The exact date of his death is not available.

Mr. Feng, who was 75 years old, was an official at the bureau level in Tianjin. Previously he had undergone heart bypass surgery before practicing Falun Gong and at that time was in poor health. In 1994, his health greatly improved as he began practicing Falun Gong. Shortly afterwards, he eliminated all of his illnesses and saved his organization hundreds of thousands of yuan worth of medical expenses.

After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20 1999, Chang Jianguo, a police officer from the Baliqiao Police Station in Tianjin, harassed Mr. Feng numerous times. Mr. Feng could not endure the threats and persecution and was forced to relocate.

Later the police once again showed up at his door to harass him. After one such police visit, Mr. Feng fell to the ground the same afternoon. He never got up and died the next day.
