Near Death, Ms. Zhang Liping and Ms. Wang Yuling Are Still Being Held in Detention

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Liping is 32 years old. She was illegally sentenced to 11 years in prison. She has a growth in her colon that can possibly lead to perforation at any time, which could kill her. She was originally held at the Shuangyang No. 3 Detention Center in Changchun City, and the detention center authorities sent her to the Heizuizi Women's Prison nine times, but the prison refused to take her because of her poor condition. Ms. Zhang is still being held at the Shuangyang No. 3 Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Yuling is around 48 years of age. She is currently being held at the Labor Reeducation Hospital of the Changchun City Prison Administration Center, after being tortured at the Shuangyang No. 3 Detention Center. Ms. Wang was completely healthy before her arrest, but the perpetrators tortured her with the "Tiger Bench" for nine consecutive days and nights, and they shocked her with electric batons and brutally beat her. Right now she is suffering from severe cardiac ischemia [lack of blood and oxygen in the heart], kidney stones, edema throughout her body and is at the brink of death. The detention center authorities tried to send Wang Yuling to the Heizuizi Women's Prison on four separate occasions, but she was rejected each time because of her very poor health condition. The Shuangyang No. 3 Detention Center could no longer afford the medical expenses and the authorities told the hospital to cut off her medications.
