Liaoning Practitioner Hao Yutian Passed Away in 2001

Before she started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997, Mrs. Hao Yutian had many diseases including hypertension, high blood fat, high blood sugar, diabetes, arteriosclerosis, brain thrombosis symptoms, and numbness in her limbs. She also fainted occasionally due to her physical infirmity. She took medicine regularly, could not perform normal housework, and brought hardship to her family.

Falun Dafa cured all of Mrs. Hao's diseases, and she could take care of herself again. Her family was quite delighted. Mrs. Hao told many people that Falun Dafa was good and that it gave her a second life. Knowing the goodness of Falun Dafa, Mrs. Hao went to Beijing to appeal right after the onset of the persecution in July 1999. She was sent back to Tiefa city and detained for fifteen days. She was also fined 5000 Yuan. Mrs. Hao was forced to report to the police station everyday. During the detention period, the police searched her house. The police continued to harass her on holidays and politically sensitive days. However, Mrs. Hao refused to relinquish Falun Dafa. The police sent her to a detention center in December 1999 and detained her there for over twenty days.

The police also harassed Mrs. Hao and her family many times, even on New Year's Eve, causing her much distress. The police threatened to withhold her husband's pension, their only income. Due to constant pressure and hounding from the police, Mrs. Hao's old illnesses resurfaced in March 2001. She developed a severe case of brain thrombosis and passed away in late 2001.
