By a witness of Zhang Xiaomin's treatment in Anshan City, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Around August 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Xiaomin, from Anshan City, Liaoning Province, was arrested and sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City. Ms. Zhang endured many different methods of inhuman tortures at Masanjia. As a result of the cruel tortures, she suffered a mental collapse. The forced labor camp did not wish to have to take care of her and thus asked her family members to get her. On November 28 of 2002, shortly after Zhang Xiaomin returned home, she fell from the 6th floor of her residency and died on impact. Since her death, Zhang Xiaomin's 15-year-old son, Wang Zhiping, has been taken care of by his maternal grandmother.

Ms. Zhang Xiaomin was 39 years old when she died. She was a resident of Anshan City, Liaoning Province. She began to cultivate Falun Dafa in 1998. After the persecution began in July 1999, Ms. Zhang went to Beijing to appeal, but was stopped at the local train station.

After that, Ms. Zhang hung an audio tape player in the big tree in front of her home and played some truth-clarifying programs to validate Dafa. One night in April 2002, she took a loud speaker and went to clarify the truth at the square in front of the Anshan City Train Station. Police from the Zhanqian Police Station arrested her and sent her to Yuemingshan Detention Center. During her detention at Yuemingshan, staff put handcuffs and shackles on her and locked her to some heating pipes until she lost consciousness. The persecutors unlawfully sentenced her to 2 years of forced labor without adhering to legal procedures.

Around August 2002, Zhang Xiaomin was transferred to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City, where the labor camp staff continued to torture her. Because of extremely inhuman mental and physical tortures, Ms. Zhang suffered a mental breakdown. To escape responsibility, the forced labor camp staff called her family members and asked them to take her home.

Ms. Zhang's family members applied many methods to treat her condition, yet her mental disorder could not be reversed. On November 28 of 2002, when none of her family members were at home, Zhang Xiaomin fell from the 6^th floor apartment and died on impact.
