(Clearwisdom.net) I am a practitioner from Hong Kong. My mother Zhu Wenxian is also a Falun Gong practitioner. On November 9, 2004, my mother was talking to people about the true situation of Falun Gong in a market in Shanghai when the Shanghai police abducted her. This is not the first time the police have abducted her there. She is still being detained.

My mother has been practicing Falun Gong for about eight years now. She has benefited tremendously from the practice. Two years ago the police tortured my mother. She was force-fed with sand and dirt, and her health deteriorated. Her hair turned gray, her face became disfigured, and her teeth were knocked out. To avoid further persecution, my mom had to leave home and survived by begging for food along the way. It was only after a year that she returned home. The authorities implicated all of our relatives. They were frightened and blamed my mother.

My mother recovered after she started to practice again. On November 9, she went out to tell people that Falun Dafa is good and how such a good practice is being persecuted. The police again abducted her and took her into custody.

I called the Pudong Weifang Police Station in Shanghai to inquire about my mother's situation. A policeman named Wang yelled at me, "Yes, I wanted to throw your mother in jail because she goes everywhere to talk about Falun Gong. She was the only one in your family that did this. I don't believe in truthfulness-compassion-forbearance. I will give anything for my country, even my life." He threatened me further, "If you are in Shanghai, I will arrest you, too."

To try to get through to him, I asked him if he had a mother. He said, "My mother is dead. I was born from a rock!"

My mother is in the hands of these so-called "people's police." They have no humanity in them at all. I am very worried about my mother's safety.

I called the Pudong New District Detention Center. A policeman who did not want to identify himself said that my mother had violated some "public security regulations." I know that this persecution is illegal. I asked exactly which regulations my mother violated. The officer answered, "How come you don't even know the public security regulations of the People's Republic of China?" Then he hung up the phone.

Falun Dafa teaches people to cultivate their moral values, to be truthful, compassionate and tolerant. People in over 60 countries practice Falun Gong, and Falun Gong has received over 1000 proclamations from around the world. Jiang Zemin has been sued for genocide outside of China for the persecution he instigated. Several of his high-ranking officials have been sued. Many who are involved in the persecution in China have received their karmic retribution. This is inevitable.

I would like to advise those who are still following Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Gong that one could never escape justice. It's a heavenly principle that good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil. For the sake of your future, do not continue to act as Jiang Zemin's pawn. Quickly make up for what you have done.

I demand that the Pudong New District Detention Center release my mother Ms. Zhu Wenxian unconditionally.
