Turkey: A Young Man Obtains Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) One day my mobile phone rang. I answered the phone and heard what seemed to be the voice of an elderly man. My first thought was that the person on the other end of the line must be a senior citizen. He told me that he got my phone number from the Internet and felt happy that somebody answered the phone. "I would like to learn Falun Gong," he said. Therefore, we made an appointment to see each other in Istanbul. After seeing him in person, I was amazed to find that he was a 28-year-old man. One month ago, he had been to the UK to visit one of his old friends. Seeing that he was in low spirits, his friend suggested he learn Tai Chi. One morning he paid a visit to a teacher of Tai Chi and also to a brain surgeon. Walking on the street, he was offered a Falun Gong leaflet by a lady. It wasn't until that evening when he was taking the subway that he remembered the leaflet in his pocket. He took it out and started reading it. After reading it, he realized that this was what he had been looking for. After returning to Turkey, he downloaded the exercise demonstration video from www.falundafa.org and managed to learn the five sets of Falun Gong exercises on his own. He politely asked me to correct his movements when we met. I watched closely and actually his movements were very accurate. After learning and practicing the five sets of exercises, he felt Falun Dafa was very good. This young Turkish man who had just obtained the Fa started to tell people the facts about Falun Gong. A Chinese textile delegation with over thirty members visited Turkey and stayed in a hotel not far from his home. He was delighted to find out about this. With eagerness, he found the person in charge of the delegation. The enthusiastic young man told him how good Falun Gong is and that he practices Falun Gong. His statements dumbfounded the delegation leader. The young man was still wondering why he refused to say anything. Finally the delegate said, "You had better learn Tai Chi." Unwilling to give up, he found the female translator of the delegation group. "No, you had better not learn Falun Gong," she told him. He then asked her why Falun Gong was not good and informed her of the advantages of Falun Gong. She told him something about the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square. She did not realize that these people had actually been arranged by Jiang Zemin and his cohorts to set themselves alight on Tiananmen Square and pretend that they were Falun Gong practitioners, something that has been verified by the NGO International Educational Development in their United Nations report. The young Turkish man went home to search for information about the self-immolation on the Internet. When he found out the truth, he exclaimed, "We should tell all people the facts of Falun Gong!"
