Cases of Karmic Retribution

[Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Xuting Township Police Station director, Ren Jinlu, collaborated with Zanhuang County 610 Office and police department to persecute Falun Dafa. They went to the homes of practitioners to harass and arrest them on numerous occasions. On October 9, 2004, Ren went with 610 Office members to Nanpan Village to arrest practitioners. While there, he also looted money, personal property, and Dafa materials. On October 15, 2004, he died suddenly, despite a seemingly healthy constitution, at the age of 38.

[Hengshui City, Hebei Province] A village woman in her fifties is an outspoken but honest person. When anyone mentions Falun Gong, she always says that those who practice Falun Gong are good people. Even to police officers, she would speak bluntly and try to persuade them. This lady used to have diabetes, but during a recent physical checkup, she was found to be now free of the illness.

Since Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, a village brigade leader with the surname Li has been very hostile towards Falun Gong. He would frequently summon Falun Gong practitioners to his office to cause difficulties for them and slanderously call them "anti-revolutionaries." Li also raged at practitioners, saying, "Now things are under the rule and control of Jiang. Whatever he blames you for, you're labeled as such." He also went to the homes of practitioners to harass them by telling them not to leave the village without his permission. Additionally, he used a loudspeaker to broadcast messages smearing Falun Gong. One day in September 2000, he went to a nearby village and forced a practitioner to swear an oath against Teacher. That night he suffered pains with angina pectoris, but he still did not come to realize the errors of his ways. He continued to have officers from local police departments and police stations arbitrarily go to practitioners' homes to arrest them and confiscate their personal belongings. He had frequent relapses of the angina pectoris attacks, even causing him to black-out due to the pain. He has now slightly relented in his persecution, but is still basically a vicious individual.

Another official in this village, a man in his forties, used to frequently rip down Falun Dafa truth-clarifying posters. He contracted a painful flesh-eating disease in his hip. The medical treatments were very costly, but yielded no cure. He now has to use a cane and regrets his past wrongdoings.

[Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] A young police officer named Hou Minghe from Fuzhoucheng Branch Police Department in Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province, has been harassing local practitioners since July 1999 by following, swearing at, stealing from, and brutally beating them. He threatened them by saying, "Whoever practices Falun Gong will be jailed." Hou Minghe was arrested in June 2004 because of his involvement with a group of car thieves.
