By a Falun Dafa Practitioner in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Jin Shulian, from Daqing City, Heilongjiang
Province was arrested while on the road on April 16, 2002, by the Gaoping Police
Substation Director Mr. Sun Baowen (located near Oil Collecting Plant),
policeman Li Yunsheng, and policewoman Wang Shuhua from the Datong Station had
been hiding there for three days. She was tortured until she was as thin as skin
and bones. She was sent home in early August 2002, and died on August 13, 2002,
at the young age forty one. Jin Shulian Ms. Jin Shulian was born in 1961, and employed by the 104th Team,
First Mine, Oil Collecting Eighth Plant, Daqing Oil Field. Before obtaining the
Fa, she had kidney failure, a slipped disc, etc. She could not take care of
herself at that time. After 1996, she obtained the Fa, all her sickness
disappeared, and both her mental and physical health returned. Ever since 1999, when Jiang's regime started persecuting Falun Dafa, her
employer, the Eighth Oil Collecting Plant and the Gaoping Police Substation
continually attempted to force her to write Guarantee Statements to give up her
cultivation. They sent people to follow her, and called her on the phone
constantly to harass her. In September 2001, Ms. Jin Shulian was arrested by security personnel from
the Eighth Oil Collecting Plant, and sent to the Gaoping Police Substation when
distributing truth clarifying materials. She was transferred to the Daqing City
Detention Center, and detained fifteen days. During her detention, the Gaoping
Substation applied to have the Datong Police Station sentence her to three years
at a labor camp. But police had to release, her because she failed the physical
when first sent to Harbin City Drug Rehabilitation Center, where she was to
serve her sentence. During the 2002 Spring Festival, Ms. Jin Shulian was arrested again when
distributing truth clarifying materials. She posted a truth clarifying sticker
inside the Gaoping Police Substation with wisdom, and was released that same
night. On April 16, 2002, Ms. Jin was arrested soon after she came down the stairs
of her home by Gaoping Police Substation Director, Mr. Sun Baowen, policeman Li
Yunsheng, and policewoman Wang Shuhua from the Datong Station had been hiding
there for three days. She was sent to the Gaoping Police Substation, and then
transferred to the Daqing City Detention Center. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jin Shulian went on a hunger strike for
thirty-eight days to protest the illegal detention. While in detention, she had
been cursed and beaten by lawless police, and both mentally and physically
severely tortured. She was then transferred to the Sa-er-tu Detention Center,
but was rejected because she was too weak. She was as thin as skin and bones.
She was sent back home in early August, and died on August 13, 2002.
