Ms. Niu Mengling from Shihezi City, Xinjiang Autonomous District Falls Six Floors to Her Death - Her Husband Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison By a Falun Dafa Practitioner in Xinjiang Autonomous District
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Niu Mengling was a Falun Dafa practitioner
employed by the Shihezi City East Power Plant in Xinjiang Autonomous District.
On November 26, 2004, "610 Office" police ransacked her house at noon,
arrested her then took her to her younger brother's house to ransack it. There
were only police and her inside her brother's house. Witnesses saw her fall from
the sixth floor window. Blood came from her nose and mouth, and then she passed
out. She was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, but was declared
dead. She died at age 32, leaving a six year old daughter. Police fervently attempted to cover up the circumstances of her death. The
next day, November 27, 2004, they sent her body to be cremated. Her parents are
both farmers, and fear retribution from the local authorities if they dare to
speak out about their daughter's tragic death. Ms. Niu went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in November 1999, for which
she was sentenced to two years at the Wulapo Labor Camp, which was extended nine
months after her term ended. She was abducted during her release, and locked in
a brainwashing class. Her employer forced her to attended three brainwashing
classes one after the other. She became destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested
at home after being released from the brainwashing classes. She was later
arrested and held in a detention center in January 2004, and tortured until she
suffered from gastrointestinal bleeding, at which time she was released on a
medical parole. She lived a very hard life with her six year old daughter,
because the "610 Office" leaders, Mr. Xue Yuejin and Mr. Guo Tianqiang,
often harassed her at her home, and prevented her from working to earn a living. Ms. Niu's husband, Wu Minsheng, had been sentenced to three years in a labor
camp because he cultivated Falun Dafa. He was abducted by the Shihezi City
"610 Office" and Power Plant Security and forced to attend a
brainwashing class held in the Nanyuan Hotel. He was arrested on January 7,
2004, by the Shihezi City Police. His home was ransacked, and he was sentenced
to eight years in prison. He is now jailed in the Beiye Prison in Shihezi City.
Their daughter, Wu Jiarong is six years old, a first grader, and is living with
