Clarifying the Truth to the French Consulate in Vancouver

(Clearwisdom Net) After I heard that the French police detained Falun Gong practitioners during Hu Jintao's visit for no valid reason, I decided that this was a perfect opportunity to clarify the truth to the French government and to people at large. Isn't it imperative that each Dafa practitioner use all available venues to validate the Fa and tell the truth about Dafa, keeping in mind ones own circumstances.

It became obvious to me that I should call the French consulate in Vancouver and express my concern and those of Canadian Falun Gong practitioners to the French government.

It took several phone call attempts to get hold of the vice consul general at the French Consulate. I identified myself. Then I expressed my shock on hearing that French police detained over ten practitioners. It happened in France, a country that values democracy, freedom, and human rights. The world understands that Falun Dafa is wonderful. The practitioners follow Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Such principles are the cornerstone that stabilize society and make people change for the goods. Therefore, every government welcomes Falun Dafa, including the Chinese government before July 20, 1999. The ex-president Jiang Zemin, out of envy, went against the constitution and initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. He employed lies and slander in his persecution. At present, it is known that about 876 practitioners were tortured to death and over 100,000 are detained in labor camps and jails. The police use all kinds of methods to force practitioners to give up their belief. The Falun Gong practitioners are not granted the basic rights to appeal.

I told the vice consul, that he has seen for over 900 days Falun Gong practitioners appealing peacefully in front of the Chinese consulate in Vancouver. All what we are asking is to end the persecution in China. He said he knew of it and agreed with me.

I also told him about the physical and mental changes I had experienced after practicing Falun Gong. I told him from the bottom of my heart that Falun Dafa is wonderful. I said that France was a great country. I held high regards for that country since childhood. What happened today severely hurt the feelings of the Chinese people. It would be a shameful page in history.

I believe the police who detained the practitioners didn't really know the truth of Falun Gong. So I asked the vice consul to relay the truth about Falun Gong to the French government and the police and urge the French government to initiate an unbiased investigation of the incident. I asked him to let them know that Falun Dafa is wonderful. Such thoughts would bring a bright future to France.

We had a friendly phone conversation. He promised to convey the message and expressed his sincere good wishes.

By making this phone call to validate Dafa, I realized that as long as we had righteous thoughts, Master would help us. I found that I expressed many thoughts during the conversation and my words really touched people's heart.
