Sweden: First Attaché of the French Embassy Apologizes to Falun Gong Practitioners (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net)On February 6, 2004, after Falun Gong practitioners were unreasonably arrested by French police in Paris during the Chinese New Year, Swedish practitioners held a peaceful appeal at the French Embassy in Stockholm. One of the Paris victims attended this activity and handed in an open letter to the French Embassy.

The Ambassador was away, so the First Attaché met with the practitioner who was mistreated in Paris and another Swedish practitioner and asked about the situation in detail for a long time. Finally, she expressed deep regret and said, "I cannot say why the French Government did this. Here, I express my deep regret to you. I will send your letter to the French President immediately, and I think all Falun Gong practitioners who were arrested in Paris should go to France and ask the French Government for a reason."
