(Clearwisdom.net) One day a Dafa practitioner had a business lunch with a city "610 Office"* director. During the lunch, they brought up the Falun Gong issue.

Practitioner: "I am a Falun Gong practitioner."

"610 Office" director: "Please tell me, do Buddhas exist? Who has ever seen a Buddha?"

Practitioner: "Buddha was a Sanskrit term. The true meaning of Buddha is enlightened cultivator. For example, some practitioners travel far from home. But they know what happens at home without anyone telling them. Aren't they enlightened cultivators?"

"610 Office" director: "Falun Gong practitioners purposely misuse some words. For instance, spread the Fa should be said as 'vastly spread the Fa,' but you say 'immensely spread the Fa.' Why?"

Practitioner: "I think that the words 'immensely spread the Fa,' are more powerful than 'vastly spread the Fa.' It feels like Pai-Shan-Dao-Hai (moving the mountain and the ocean)."

"610 Office" director: "For some reason, when you spelled out Pai-Shan-Dao-Hai, I could feel a huge wave of energy coming."

Practitioner: "Our Teacher has extensive knowledge and profound scholarship. Many people, including illiterate women, farmers, professionals, professors, and scientists all study Falun Gong with the most sincere respect. On the other hand, Jiang Zemin forces people to study his so-called theory, but nobody wants to follow him. Why? There is no substance. Why do you follow him?"

The "610 Office" director continued to ask a dozen more questions. The practitioner answered them one by one.

Other people at the lunch table also advised: "From now on, you'd better stop persecuting Falun Gong." Finally, the practitioner said, "I assume you have access to Falun Dafa books, please study them sincerely." The director replied, "I have a hard cover copy of Zhuan Falun at home. I will take good care of the book."
