Dafa Perfectly Harmonizes My Family, Neighborhood and Workplace

(Clearwisdom.net) I started to practice Falun Gong in 1995. For the past eight years, I have been following Teacher's teachings, behaving according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." Many people around me have realized the goodness of Falun Dafa, and this has made me understand that Falun Dafa can perfectly harmonize everything.

My Family

In 1995, I started to practice Falun Gong in order to acquire a healthy body. After I learned Falun Gong, I introduced it to my family members and close friends. I got books for them and practiced the exercises with them. The result was very good. My sisters and friends all said they had benefited a lot, and many of them practiced diligently in the group and never stopped studying the book or practicing the exercises. They all continuously behaved according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." It is true that as long as you study the book, you will make improvements.

As I strove to practice the qualities of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" in every situation, the atmosphere at home gradually improved. There are more than 30 sisters and brothers in my mother-in-law's family, and every one of them says I am a good person. I can be tolerant of everyone. No matter how others treat me, I treat them with compassion and try my best to help them. Even though the parents-in-law are normally the most critical people when it comes to their daughter-in-law, my parents-in-law tell everyone they meet that I am dutiful and respectful. I told them it is because I practice Falun Gong. Hence I won everyone's respect towards Falun Gong.

In August 2002, I went to visit my mother-in-law. I had forgotten to bring the Falun Gong books, so my mother-in-law, who was very ill, wanted to go out and borrow the book for me. I thanked her and refused. Later, my father-in-law borrowed Zhuan Falun for me. When he took out the book from the inside of his jacket and put it in front of me, I was really happy. My parents-in-law are not practitioners, but they respect Teacher very much and they think that Falun Dafa is good. A few of my relatives had once listened to the regime's lies that were manipulated by the media, but now they are also practicing Falun Gong. They often tell me their experiences in practicing Falun Gong. Even my elder brother, who had objections for a long time, also knows that Falun Gong is good.

Neighbors and Friends

Because I started to practice Falun Gong quite early, many of my neighbors know about it. I often talked to them about the principles of Falun Gong, even after the persecution started. I have been rationally introducing Falun Gong and clarifying the truth with wisdom as requested by Teacher, and trying to communicate with them in my spare time. They all understand that I am strong and healthy.

Once, my neighbor Ms. Zhang did good deeds for the neighborhood. I talked to her and showed my admiration. She said, "Am not I learning from you?" Falun Gong made my relationship with the neighbors and friends improve. The most important thing is to behave well as a practitioner and to show people the beauty of Falun Dafa.

Workplace and Colleagues

From July 20, 1999 until now, I have the job with the most responsibility in my company. I require myself to adhere to the standards of Falun Dafa, because I deeply understand Teacher's instructions: "Study the Fa and obtain the Fa, Share in learning and share in cultivating, Following [the Fa] in everything, Compliance is cultivation." (Hong Yin). Besides my work, I practice the exercises, read Falun Gong books, tell people about the truth of the persecution, and instantly correct myself when I do not do well.

After our company started a major construction project, people all thought that there would be lots of bonuses given out. However, I did not take one cent, but instead made many contributions. I worked overtime and also contributed financially to the project. I left home early and came back late, and traveled in my own car to sort out matters related to the project. My co-workers were really touched and said they have never seen a colleague like me before, without a bit of selfishness. How many leaders now are not corrupted? I told them that I behaved like that because of practicing Falun Gong. Teacher taught me to be like this. They all admire Falun Dafa now because I try to use every chance to tell my colleagues how good Falun Gong is. Some of them have started practicing Falun Gong, and they say that Teacher is really great. The book contains all sorts of knowledge and explains everything very clearly. Our workplace operates harmoniously, which had never happened before. If there is work to be done, everyone rushes to do it. We all work together and try to solve as many problems as possible together. My colleagues said, "We are willing to do anything by following this kind of leader." Society is corrupt to such a degree, and people are not willing to do anything; many feel angry whatever they do. None of my colleagues have objections to my leadership. Our relationship is very harmonious; it is the manifestation of Falun Dafa's mighty power.

Every time I speak at a meeting, I say that I have learned tolerance from Teacher. I speak to my colleagues about the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" in light of the various situations we find ourselves in. Once I was chatting with a colleague at lunch break and talked about Falun Gong. She said: "I know Falun Gong is good, I see it from you. After you practiced Falun Gong, everything became smooth for you. You are not selfish and we all admire you." She also said: "Truthfulness is to treat people truthfully without deception; Compassion is to treat everything and everyone with kindness; Forbearance is to be tolerant when encountering unhappy people or a matter at work, and to take a step backwards in conflicts." I felt very happy upon hearing her words. She also told me that she had received some pamphlets about Falun Gong. She reads all the Falun Gong materials she gets and hides them at home. I said to her, "Good. After reading these materials, you can also give them to your family members to read."

Even though my colleagues may not understand the principles of Falun Gong completely, their sincere hearts towards Falun Dafa are very precious. It is Falun Dafa that perfectly harmonized my workplace.

The Fa-rectification is moving so fast, and Falun Dafa practitioners' righteous thoughts and actions are very important. Falun Dafa can perfectly harmonize everything. We need to harmonize everything around us with actions according to the Fa. Falun Dafa can uplift people's morality and correct people's hearts.
