2004 City calendar of West Hartford, Connecticut. Photo of Falun Gong practitioners' performance posted on the October page of the calendar to draw attention to the city's parades. In the lower right-hand corner of the calendar, a black and white photo of a previous parade is posted as a contrast.

In May 2003, Falun Gong practitioners from Connecticut and Rhode Island participated in an annual parade in the Town of West Hartford, Connecticut. Practitioners from the Yale Falun Dafa Club performed a dance to the music "The Flying Falun" in the parade and were warmly received. This year, their photo was selected and published on the city's calendar.

The theme of the October page is, "Now & Then: Parades". The page uses the Falun Gong practitioners' performance to present today's parade and contrasts it with a black and white photo of a previous parade.
