Practicing Falun Gong with Righteous Thoughts

A practitioner's sister was deceived by Jiang's policies against Falun Gong after the April 25th event* in 1999. Rather than supporting her sister in practicing Falun Gong as she did in the old days, she began to go the other direction, and even stated that she was against Falun Gong. Although the practitioner continued telling her sister the facts about Falun Gong for years, due to the effect of all the lies that were misleading people, her sister hesitated and was doubtful about whatever the practitioner said to her.

Later, she went to Japan and saw with her own eyes that Falun Gong was widely known in Japan and that the practice of Falun Gong had given people a wonderful life. She became extremely angry at the fact that Jiang and his followers had lied on such a grand scale. In the meantime, she began to understand Falun Gong practitioners and the practice.

A couple of days ago, she called the practitioner in China from Japan. On the phone, she was very emotional and said, "You have kept a strong faith and practiced Falun Gong even under such inhumane persecution; you are great! I am calling not only to express my understanding and to support your persistence, but to tell you that I will also start practicing Falun Gong now."

One day, while three practitioners were on their way to some activities to clarify the truth to the public, police discovered them and pursued with several police cars. The practitioners decided to drive faster so that they could get away from the police. Under this critical circumstance, one practitioner said calmly, "We can escape this as long as we trust our Master and send forth righteous thoughts." However, the other two disagreed, "It looks like it is impossible to escape." As soon as they said this, the car engine suddenly died. Several police came, grabbed them from the car and tried to push them into a police car. Two were pushed into the police car and the other one did not let go of the door. As a result, his pants were pulled off, leaving only his underwear. The practitioner shouted firmly, "Let go off me. I need to put my pants back on." The police had to let go of him for a while. He pulled his pants back on right away and ran over 60 feet away while the police were still hesitating. Two policemen blamed each other and several policemen started to chase him. He ran into an open area, hid in a pipe, and began to send forth righteous thoughts. As a result, he successfully escaped the police.

Three practitioners were in the same situation, and one difference in thought led to two completely different results. As of today, the two practitioners are still in a detention center and under persecution. On the other hand, the one who escaped from the police chase using righteous thoughts is once again involved in Fa-rectification work.
