Money Extorted From Practitioners Returned Through Truth Clarification and Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) We went to Beijing on July 20, 2000. We were arrested and sent to the Beijing Police Station. After we served our term there, we were taken back to our hometowns by local police. However, our local police wouldn't release us without first having our families each pay 1,000 yuan as a deposit [yuan is the Chinese currency; the monthly salary for an average urban worker in China is about 500 Yuan].

While the money was being paid, we were accompanied by the director of the local police station. We were released, and they promised to return the money after a year. However, one year passed and our money wasn't returned. We went to the police station to ask for our money. They not only refused to return our money, but a department director, Zhang Fulin said, "The money was not a deposit, it was the traveling expense to get you back from Beijing." Yet, we had used our own money to buy train tickets, which both our company manager and the police department could attest to. Five of us practitioners then each individually went to the city police department. However, director Zhang refused to meet with us. After the five of us discussed amongst ourselves, we recognized that this was also a form of interference. Therefore, we sent forth strong righteous thoughts, and decided we would move forward and ask for our money back.

With Master Li's powerful strengthening, we went to our city's "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.], where we continued to clarify the truth to them while maintaining righteous thoughts. At that time, the "610 Office" director expressed a willingness to negotiate the matter. A city official also said that there was no reason not to return our money, and that there was no official processing of the money when it was received, which was already illegal. During that time, our local police department director also recognized that Dafa is good, and after Dafa practitioners' persistently clarifying the truth to him, he lent us a hand. In this way, we finally got back our money.

In fact, material goods are but small matters. The important thing is that during this process, we take advantage of the opportunities to clarify the truth, expose those local villains' evil acts, and simultaneously save those lives that are waiting to be saved.
