Dafa practitioner Lin Guizhi is a 42-year-old woman who lived at No. 15 Guangming Street, Shuangta District, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. On November 18, 2003, perpetrators from the Zhannan Police Station in Chaoyang City arrested her and sent her to the No. 1 Detention Center in Chaoyang City. In mid January 2004, the Shuangta District Court sentenced her to seven years in prison.

On December 18, 2003, persecutors from Dehui City's Police Department arrested Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhang Xuedong and Mr. Wang Chengshun from Dehui City. They have been held at the Dehui City Detention Center for more than one month. The two practitioners were savagely tortured. Right now, the authorities from Dehui City's Public Prosecutor's Office are trying to hold a trial to further persecute the practitioners. The authorities from the Dehui City Detention Center blocked information and denied family visits.

After the persecution of Dafa began on July 20, 1999, Dong Shufang, a Dafa practitioner and an official from Handian Town, Shuangcheng City went to the provincial government to appeal and was arrested by police. On September 9, 1999, he went to the Appeals Office in Beijing and was sent to the No. 1 Detention Center of Shuangcheng City where he was held for over four months and was nearly tortured to death. The persecutors released him after extorting 8,000 Yuan from his family. In December 2000, they again abducted him, sent him to a detention center and held him there for more than six months. The government unreasonably fired him and refused to reinstate his job after his release. Moreover, they monitored him and harassed him at home, which caused him great anguish.

Jiang's followers at the Guangxi Female Labor Camp divided Dafa practitioners into three classes: class A, class B and class C. Determined Dafa practitioners are sent to class C, and the guards extended these practitioners' terms to persecute them. The practitioners get up at 5:55 a.m. every day and work until 9:30 at night processing products for export. Many practitioners' hands became deformed from excessive labor. The officials made huge profits by exploiting the practitioners. Determined practitioners are often sent to the Education Division, where two people are assigned to each practitioner. Dafa practitioner Ms. Cui Yu held a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was force-fed chili oil and water. She is in her 30s but her hair turned white from torture and malnutrition.

Since July 20, 1999, Jiang's followers at the College of Information Science and Engineering from Hebei University of Science and Technology spread lies and incited hatred toward Falun Gong among the faculty and students of the college. They stopped at no evil to persecute employees who were Falun Gong practitioners by demanding faculty members and students to write slanderous statements about Dafa. They made everyone "pass the test," Cultural Revolution style. Dafa practitioner Mr. Song Hongshui refused to give up Dafa practice and as a result was expelled from the Party, demoted by three levels, and eventually fired. Later, he was arrested and sent to a brainwashing center.

In December 2002, officials at the Masanjia Labor Camp began another round of persecution against Dafa practitioners. Collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who went astray after being subjected to torture and brainwashing]monitored Dafa practitioner Ms. Hu Cuilian. They forced her to squat until 2:00 a.m. every day for 14 days. Seeing the torture failed to sway her mind, these evildoers tied her legs together in full lotus position for four days, then they tied her body and hung her up for five days straight.

Guard Wang Xiuju (female) ordered these collaborators to hang practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuling upside down on a bed pole. Then the collaborators violently hit her head and face, until her eyes and half of her face turned black and blue. The collaborators also set fire to a sheet of paper and put the paper on her skin while verbally abusing her. They also hung her up by her hands while beating her calves until they turned black and blue. The guards shocked her mouth with electric batons and ordered the collaborators to tie her legs in a full lotus position for one day.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Mi Yanli from Xiaohexi Village, Foyedong Township, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province had clarified the truth about Dafa since July 20, 1999. Fu Yanling, head of Lingyuan City Police Department's "610 Office" and the local police arrested her and sent her to Masanjia Labor Camp to cruelly torture her. On October 15, 2002, Mi Yanli was released after more than two years of detention at the labor camp. Soon after, police from Foyedong Township arrested her and sent her back to the Masanjia Labor Camp. On September 29, 2003, Mi Yanli's husband went to the labor camp to visit her. He saw that her eyes were black and blue, she was extremely weak and had difficulty talking.

Truth clarification experience in the Taiwanese Kinmen Islands: on January 9, 2004 [Chinese lunar calendar], a group of Dafa practitioners demonstrated the Dafa exercises on Mount Taiwu on one of the Kinmen Islands. Banners reading, "Falun Dafa is good" danced in the wind on the mountain. In the afternoon, some practitioners visited Kinmen's senator. The next day, the practitioners went to each household to distribute pamphlets. Some of them went to tourist attraction sites to spread the Fa. During the third evening they showed truth-clarification videos. When they finished the video, over a dozen people asked to learn Falun Gong.
