-In April 2003, the police arrested Mr. Xie Fei of Computer Department of Northeast Normal University at Shuangyang District and detained him in No. 3 Detention Center in Changchun City, Jilin Province for his participation in the "March 5" TV interception to broadcast the truth of Falun Gong. Then in September they had him attended a secret trial in which he was sentenced to more than 10 years imprisonment. Xie Fei is currently experiencing severe tortures and mistreatment in prison; all of his hair has already turned white.

-On May 19, 2002, more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners from Guanjiaju city, Qidong County, Hunan Province and other places united to participate in an experience sharing conference at Mr. Zhang Shengfa's house. This gathering alarmed the Chinese State Security Ministry, and they classified it as a big case. Not long afterwards, 20 Falun Gong practitioners were detained and maliciously tortured to extort evidence; practitioners were beaten until bruises covered their bodies. Four more practitioners were also illegally sentenced; these practitioners were detained for more than 15 months for attending the experience sharing conference. Afterwards, the corrupt police required practitioners to pay for so called "meal expenses" at the time of their release, and the police also extorted money from the practitioners' families.

-Yanhu District, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province Dafa practitioner Mr. Hou Shanzu was detained three times and police extorted a large sum of money from him. In 2002, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison. He tried to appeal, but this only led to the increase of his sentence to nine years. Mr. Hou remains in prison today, and he is undoubtedly suffering through many tortures. Mr. Zheng Zhiyuan of Yuncheng City, who is self-employed, was detained for telling the facts about Falun gong. The police cruelly tortured him during this period. The perpetrators sentenced him to seven years of imprisonment while his wife was pregnant at that time.

-Jianfeng Village, Yueshan city, Sichuan Province: Before practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Liu Zhongli suffered from nasosinusitis for 40 years, and in 1992 she was afflicted by withering gastritis and cholecystitus. Doctors then found in March of 1998 that she also had brain cancer as well as a problem with her uterus. Fortunately for Ms. Liu, all of her ailments vanished after she began practicing Falun Gong. She even started to look more youthful as a result of her practice. After the persecution began, Ms. Liu was beaten and detained several times for her steadfast faith in her cultivation. Then in June of 2002, she was abducted by the police. They ignored all legal procedures and sent her directly to Nanmusi Force Labor Camp in Sichuan Province. In December 2000, Dafa practitioner Ms. Min Hongying traveled to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. She was beaten and detained. It is not until May 31, 2001 did she is released, but on June 5, police attempted to abduct her again. To avoid further persecution, she was forced to become destitute and homeless for more than a year.

Chaoyanggou Forced Labor camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province has defied all laws by openly committing atrocious crimes. Not only has the camp unlawfully imposed forced labor upon all detained Falun Gong practitioners, officials there have also charged practitioners enormous amounts of money at the time of their release. These fines have ranged from 3000 yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 yuan] to over ten thousand yuan.

I am an eleven year old Dafa practitioner. One day I picked up a pouch at school containing a lot of money. I gave the wallet to a teacher, and she then returned it to its owner, our school principal. Our principal said to me, "This money will pay for my son's college tuition. Since you picked it up (and returned it to me), I would like to give you some money as a token of my gratitude." I replied by saying that this was unnecessary. Afterwards, my teacher praised me during class in front of all the students, and she explained that I had picked up 3500 yuan and returned all the money to its rightful owner. Why did I return the money? It is because I have learned Falun Dafa, and I always remember to act according to Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truth, Compassion, Forbearance). It is master who has taught me to be this best person.
