Thoughts After Reading "Practitioners Broadcast TV Documentaries that Clarify the Truth of the Persecution of Falun Dafa in Xingtai and Shahe Cities, Hebei Province"

(Clearwisdom.net) According to the February 11th Clearwisdom.net news, practitioners in the Xingtai and Shahe areas of Hebei Province successfully broadcast TV documentaries that clarify the truth of the persecution of Falun Dafa by tapping into a wireless TV network, around the time of the Chinese New Year. I am sure that every practitioner will be as encouraged as I am after hearing this news. We shouldn't forget Liu Chengjun, the practitioner who was tortured to death for tapping into the local television network to broadcast the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong. Liu Chengjun is gone, but another group of practitioners has succeeded him. Dafa and Dafa disciples are indestructible.

Tapping into the TV networks is a good way to save sentient beings. As long as we make breakthroughs in our understanding of the Fa, and meet the requirements of Fa-rectification, the evil will not have a chance to take advantage of us. Here, I would like to share some understandings of this issue, at my current level.

Tapping into the TV networks is not a kind of work that involves one or two people, or even a small group of people. To do it, we need to cooperate as a whole body. Actually, we need to meet the requirements of Fa-rectification as a whole during the process, and cooperate well, leaving no room for the evil. In Teacher's comment on the article entitled, "Do Not Differentiate Between Fa-Rectification Projects; 'A Great Way Has No Form' But Exists as a Whole," Master says,

"Dafa disciples are one body, and I affirm everything they've been doing during Fa-rectification -- they're all doing what Dafa disciples should do. Different approaches are in fact the all-encompassing way in which roles are dynamically distributed in the operations of the Fa, and the Fa-power is a reflection of the one body."

In the December 3, 2003, Clearwisdom.net article "Exposing the Schemes of China's 'National Security Agents'," the author says, "Looking at the issue from another angle, doesn't it also show that we practitioners in China as a whole are still not very clear about the significance of TV interception? We might only think we should do this to redeem sentient beings, and we should do it even at the cost of our lives, but have failed to recognize the legitimacy, the rationality and the appropriateness of our action and have therefore given an excuse to the evil for their persecution."

In Lin Zhanxiang's December 10, 2003, Clearwisdom.net article entitled, "Falun Gong's Efforts to Counter the Persecution Are Legal and Reasonable," a thorough analysis is given as to the legitimacy, the rationality, the appropriateness, and the righteousness of our actions. Encouragement is given to practitioners in China to recognize the significance and legitimacy of tapping into the TV networks. If practitioners' understanding of this issue is as clear as that of the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, and if we send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the control by the old forces in other dimensions, the evil will not have any excuses to persecute us. What's facing them is complete defeat and elimination. Similarly to what's said in the article written by a practitioner on Clearwisdom.net, "Expose the Evil Happening Locally to the Local People," "...Only when we truly melt into the Fa, negate and eliminate this evil persecution from the depths of our hearts without any human notions mixed in, can the boundless power of the Fa be manifested." Actually, only when we really do well in this way can we safely carry out TV wire-tapping over a larger area.

Reflecting on what happened after practitioners successfully tapped into the TV network in Changchun City, I wonder whether we truly have righteous thoughts to support the action as a whole. Have we really reached the state of an enlightened being cultivating in the righteous Fa, following the spirit of Master's comment, "The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things" (Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference ). Did we cultivate ourselves through understanding the article Master wrote after the Changchun City broadcast, "Look at Things with Righteous Thoughts"? Although I have cultivated myself on this issue to a certain extent, I feel it is still far from meeting the requirements of Fa-rectification. I was numb and indifferent about what had happened, felt unrelated to it, and that I wasn't involved with it at all. Even though I knew rationally that it was related to me, and I sent forth righteous thoughts, I still didn't care enough about it. Sometimes I was fooled by illusions created by the evil, and couldn't look at things with righteous thoughts. On the contrary, I allowed the attachment of fear to take hold, and started to have negative thoughts about the wire-tapping. Somehow this helped the evil and hindered the Fa-rectification. Where does the evil exist? Doesn't it exist in the heavenly bodies where the lack of understanding of the Fa has occurred in practitioners, and where our human notions exist? We have no reason to look too far outward. No matter what we encounter, we should look within ourselves and within our group first.

I find that other practitioners I know have similar problems. Had all the practitioners in China and the world approached the TV network tapping with righteous thoughts, and sent forth righteous thoughts afterwards, we probably could have reduced the losses and lessened the pressure on the local practitioners. If we tapped into the TV network in one place, and all Dafa disciples supported it with righteous thoughts and eliminated the evil, the evil would have no place to stay, nor would it have any reason to exist. Thus, we would achieve the best result in eliminating the evil and saving the sentient beings. The pressure on local practitioners would be lessened. So, we should look at things from the perspective of Fa-rectification. As long as a project is good for saving sentient beings and validating Dafa, we all have to give it our support with righteous thoughts.

Practitioners in other areas should break away from notions of geographic boundaries and any selfish notions of self. We should break through all of the interference from the evil, and form one body with all the practitioners in the world. We should send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in other dimensions that damage the effects of using TV to clarify the facts. Meanwhile, we can take the TV wire-tapping incidents as opportunities to expose the evil and to save sentient beings.

I would suggest that we study again Master's article, "Look at Things with Righteous Thoughts," and possibly prepare some publications regarding the issue, to help practitioners understand the significance of TV wire-tapping. This will completely get rid of the evil's persecution and aid us in walking the path of validating Dafa. Let us make diligent advances along the path to becoming enlightened beings and let us save more sentient beings.
