[Tianjin City] Falun Gong Practitioner Yuan Hong Dies as a Result of
Persecution
Mr. Yuan Hong was a 52-year-old Falun Gong practitioner who had lived in the
Hedong District, Tianjin City. He worked at Heping District's Sanitation Clinic.
After enforcers from the Hedong Police Department illegally put him into a
forced labor camp for one year and two months, they extended his detention by
two months because he resisted the police's coercion and refused to write a
"guarantee statement."
Mr. Yuan Hong persisted in Dafa practice after his release and the police
often went to his home to harass him. About half a year ago the police again
went to his home to harass him. He was the only person at home at the time.
Later, his family members who worked at a cotton-spinning factory received a
police notice saying Yuan Hong had jumped from the sixth floor of a building and
died. The details are under investigation.

Ms. Gao Manli is a 40-year-old practitioner who works in Shenyang City's
Chemical Company. In around April 2003, someone reported her to police when she
was reading a Dafa book on a train from Heilongjiang Province to Dalian City,
which resulted in her arrest. She is a practitioner on the unlawfully circulated
"wanted list." In November 2003, officials at the Liaohua Court illegally
sentenced her to eight years imprisonment.
During the evening on November 26, 2003, a policeman followed practitioner
Ms. Xu Jing who lived in the Tiexi District/Shenyang City when she was
distributing truth-clarifying flyers. Policemen from Tiexi District's Qixian
Police Precinct later ransacked Xu Jing's home. Her current situation is
unknown.

Secret Brainwashing Class at the Heishijiao Linghai Hotel
The perpetrators from "610 Office" set up a secret brainwashing class in the
Heishijiao Linhai Hotel. The sixth and seventh floors are used for detaining
Dafa practitioners. Because of its illegality, the brainwashing class is a
secret undertaking.
Currently, over a dozen Dafa practitioners are being held there against their
will; each practitioner is detained in a separate room where two people monitor
one practitioner. There are TV and radio in every room, so that the perpetrators

[Hebei Province] Crimes Committed by Wang Xudong, Minister of the
Information and Industry Ministry
Wang Xudong is a minister of the Information and Industry Ministry who
had allocated tremendous amounts of government money for the "Golden Shield
Project," [a program to further limit access to information through the Internet
and other mass media, started by Jiang Zemin's son] which partially includes
inventing programs that block and monitor Internet activities. The system
specially targets practitioners whose names are in the ministry list in order to
find out the location of Dafa truth-clarifying materials production sites.
Before he became minister for the Information and Industry Ministry,
Wang Xudong was promoted to be secretary for Hebei Province's Party Committee
for his persecution of Dafa practitioners in Tianjin City.

Youshan Immediately Stop Persecuting Falun Gong" on the Gate of the Liaohe
Police Department
Wang Youshan is a notorious perpetrator who has persecuted Dafa in the Liaohe
Oil Fields. His crimes were published on Minghui Net [Chinese version of
Clearwisdom.net]. In the evening of December 16, 2003, a Dafa practitioner
painted the words "Wang Youshan, Immediately Stop Persecuting Falun Gong!" on
the front gate of the Liaohe Police Department where Wang Youshan works. The
next morning this practitioner went in close proximity to the police department

Several days ago, 30 Dafa practitioners detained at Dalian City's Wafangdian
Prison started their collective hunger strike to protest the illegal
persecution.
Brief information about practitioners:
Mr. Gao Wei, pseudonym Li Jun, is from Dengta Distrct/Liaoyang City. After
several days' torment, his internal organs were injured so severely that he
became ill and had to remain in bed all day. His family requested to bail him
out for hospitalization, but the policemen rejected their plea. The relatives
had recently pleaded for his unconditional release, but the police did not meet
with them. They made phone calls to the police but received no response.
Mr. Liu Enhua, pseudonym Liu Pangtao, is from Shenyang City. He was tortured
to the point of being emaciated. He could not sit up straight and he is in
critical condition.

[Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Abduction of Practitioners Zhou Linfa and
Wu Liren
On or around June 15, someone reported a practitioner to the police. He is
Mr. Zhou Linfa of the School of Political Science and Law at Zhejiang
University. He was distributing truth-clarifying discs. Policeman Ye Shufeng
from Gongshu District's Police Precinct in Hangzhou City put him into detention
for a month and then sentenced him to forced labor.
Practitioner Zhou Linfa's wife did not have the right mindset and revealed
information about another practitioner. She told the police about Dafa
practitioner Wu Liren who had been detained in Hangzhou City's Detention Center
for six months. At 9:00 a.m. on December 22, Wu Liren was put on a trial at the
Xihu District Court.

[Changsha City, Hunan Province] Abduction and Torment of Persecuted
Practitioners Mr. Deng Chaogang and Ms. Tan Xiangyu
After Dafa practitioner Deng Chaogang discovered his cellular phone was
illegally monitored, he attempted to transfer truth-clarifying materials.
Unfortunately, policemen abducted him to Changsha City's Detention Center. In
the meantime, policemen also abducted practitioners Ms. Tan Xiangyu and four
other Dafa practitioners. Wardens forbid the practitioners in the detention
center to sleep. They even beat Ms. Tan Xiangyu up. When Tan's family requested
her release from the detention center, the wardens refused. According to
practitioners detained in the same cell, Ms. Tan has been tortured to her last
breath.

[Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Dafa Practitioner Ling Xiang is Abducted
and Persecuted at Shanghai City's No.3 Labor Camp
Shanghai City's Jing'an Police Department (police department and national
security department) arrested Dafa practitioner Mr. Ling Xiang from Guangzhou
City and detained him at Jing'an Detention Center for four months. The police
prevented his contacts with his family members and lawyer, and postponed his
appeal for the two-year labor camp sentence against him. Ling Xiang's father
rushed to Shanghai to see him, but his request was rejected, leading to his
tremendous mental pressure. His father was soon diagnosed as liver caner and
passed away within a short period of time. The police didn't allow Ling Xiang to
see his father for the last time. Ling Xiang is currently detained and
persecuted at Shanghai's No. 3 Labor Camp.
[Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Abduction of Yang Mingzheng into a
Brainwashing Class
On December 23, police abducted practitioner Mr. Yang Mingzheng from Xinxiang
City/Henan Province from his home after work and put him into a brainwashing

[Xinmin City, Liaoning Province] "610" Personnel Abduct Practitioners Su
Xiaohong and Yang Guiqiu
At 11:00 p.m. on December 16, 2003, "610 Office" personnel from Xinmin City/Liaoning
Province abducted practitioners Ms. Su Xiaohong and Mr. Yang Guiqiu from
Jiutiandi Village/ Hongqi Township. A 16-year-old daughter was left at their
home without care. The arrest happened because someone reported Sun and Yang's

Xiuxia
Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuxia, 52 years old, is a resident of Xinzhibeili,
Linghe District, Jinzhou City. Since July 20, 1999, hatchet men of Jiang's
regime have incessantly harassed and persecuted her, only because she persists
in cultivating Falun Dafa. Liu Xiuxia was forced to leave home in 2001 and till
now she is still living in exile. In December 2003 she visited her brother in
Jinzhou City. policemen abducted her from her brother's home. The policemen were

Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhou Dongmei from Nanchang City is 53 years old. On
October 20, 2003, policemen from the Nanzhan Police Precinct/Xihu Police
Department abducted Zhou Dongmei. She is now held at the Xinjia'an Women's
Prison.
Dafa practitioner Ms. Hu Shuiying from Nanchang City is 52 years old. At
around 12:00 a.m. on November 28, 2003, policemen Hu Zhengxi and Li Tao went to
Hu Shuiying's home unexpectedly, grossly abused her and ransacked the place. At
present, Hu Shuiying is being held at Nanchang City's No.2 Detention Center and
is suffering from bone fractures. Her life is in grave danger.
On December 6, 2003, personnel from Jing'an County's Police Department
abducted 52-year-old Ms. Wan Shaozhen, 57-year-old Ms. Xu Zhuying, and

persecution by staging a hunger strike. She escaped from her captors with the

abduct Wu Dandan on her way to work. They claimed to "absolutely transform her

About one week ago, 60-year-old Dafa practitioner Ms. Ji Bin was abducted
while distributing truth-clarifying materials in Dalian City. She was later sent
to Shenyang City's Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp. It's said that Ji Binn is very

[Antu County, Jilin Province] People in Antu County's Police Department's
Evil Deeds
Policeman Jin Zhenshan from the National Security Section (Political &
Security Section) for the Antu County Police Department has frequently harassed
Dafa practitioners with all kinds of despicable methods.
In July and August 2003, Jin Zhenshan badly beat practitioner Ms. Zhang
Yufeng with a wooden club and belt. The club was even broke. Zhang Yufeng was
beaten so bad that she bled from her mouth and her whole body was covered with
bruises. Yet Jin Zhenshan didn't stop. He kept kicking Zhang Yufeng's abdomen so
hard that she lost control of her bowels and fainted on the spot.

On the afternoon of July 21, 2003, vicious policemen discovered Dafa
practitioners 52-year-old Ms. Wang Xiaohua and 51-year-old Ms. Wang Yuehua

days later. Two days later, though, policemen once again abducted them from

Dafa practitioner Mr. Cheng Xiangwu, 61 years old, is the manager of Shiyan
City's Food Company. In September 2003, Zhu Bangyi, deputy head of the city's
"610 Office" and chief of the criminal police team in the city's police
department led a group of policemen and abducted Cheng Xiangwu from home to the
Meile Hotel where he was cruelly tortured. The practitioner's life is in grave
danger and he is presently in the hospital for urgent care.
The enforcers hold brainwashing sessions at the Meile Hotel. They abducted
from three to ten Dafa practitioners into every session, which lasted seven to
ten days. The practitioner's work unit is forced to pay the costs for food and
lodging. In addition, each practitioner was also extorted 2,000 Yuan [500Yuan
is the average monthly income in urban areas of China]. If practitioners
refused to pay, lawless policemen would require the work unit to deduct the
money from the practitioner's salary or even directly extort money from the
practitioner's relatives.

Yang Shouyi, head of Dongli District's "610 Office" in Harbin

Illegally Detained at Shuangyang District's Detention Center
When Dafa practitioner Yu Zhanchun from Luxiang Town, Shuangyang District,
Changchun City was writing an article on December 15, 2003 to expose the
persecution he/she suffered, Wang Yihang, acting chief of Shuangyang District's
Police Precinct and two other policemen named Zhu and Xue abducted practitioner
Yu Zhanchun. Now Yu is detained at Shuangyang District's Detention Center.

Mu Guiliang, male, 55 years old, deputy chief of Yi County's Police

In his position of deputy director of Yi County's Police Department, Mu
Guiliang is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. He has massive manpower,
physical resources and financial resources at his disposal to abduct all Dafa
practitioners in the county, search their houses and confiscate their Dafa
materials. He openly extorted money from Dafa practitioners and has personally
plotted and frequently instructed others to persecute Dafa practitioners on a
large scale. Whenever he fined Dafa practitioners, he did not give any receipt.
He abducted many Dafa practitioners in October 2002 when the Chinese Communist
Party held the 16th Conference. Later, Mu Guiliang conspired with
Yang Baoming, chief of the Legal System Section, and Li Chunyu, chief of the
Political and Security Section and decided to fine each practitioner from 3,000
Yuan to 30,000 Yuan. The money they extorted was divided into three portions -
one for the Legal System Section, one for the Police Precinct and the other for
the Political and Security Section. They harassed those practitioners who
refused to comply with the extortion attempt.
