Record Our Personal Experiences of Being Persecuted from a Legal Point of View and Bring Those Responsible to Justice By Dafa practitioner from China (Clearwisdom.net) Jiang's regime has violated many laws, twisted legal
definitions and confused the general public's understanding of China's laws. To
this day, there has been no evidence to show that Dafa practitioners are
criminals or have broken any laws. The Chinese police system is now
restructuring its police forces. We personally think this is a direct result of
changes in the cosmic phenomena. We would like to make a suggestion to Dafa
practitioners who have been persecuted: we should oppose the persecution from
the legal viewpoint to suffocate the evil and protect our own legal rights. Let
us write down our personal experiences of being persecuted in detail. When we write this type of report, we should separate our personal
experiences from our understandings of the Fa. It is because our target readers
are not fellow practitioners but ordinary people. We should separate the
personal, dictatorial deeds of Jiang's regime from the Chinese government; we
should separate the "610 Office," [an agency specifically created
to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration
in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] which is an
illegal entity that is above the laws and was established outside of the legal
system, from China's existing judicial and legal system; we should separate the
crimes that Jiang's regime is responsible for from the criminal deeds of
individual police officers that violate the laws and torture practitioners; we
should separate the vast majority of good police from the small number of evil
police. We should identify those officers that torture practitioners and then
sue them individually for their criminal deeds. We shouldn't allow anyone to
hide behind the government and the police system and let them think that their
persecution of Falun Gong is legal or justified. Even though the evil once sent
out an oral decree saying that it doesn't matter if Falun Gong practitioners are
beaten to death, and that the deaths of those practitioners who are beaten to
death will be treated as suicides, it didn't dare to issue an official decree in
writing. From this, we can see that even Jiang's regime doesn't dare to leave
behind direct evidence of its crimes and that what they are doing isn't in line
with China's Constitution or criminal laws. We feel that we should go beyond our mistaken notions when it comes to legal
matters. Even though the Jiang's regime as a group has committed crimes against
Dafa practitioners, its dictatorial power can't protect individual members who
have committed crimes. We have the right to file criminal complaints, lay
charges, and report their crimes. We also have the right to sue them in civil
courts and ask for compensation for our suffering. We should use laws, the
lowest form of expression that Dafa has given to us, to punish them one by one.
This way, we can shock the evil, lessen the persecution, and increase our
intensity of validating the Fa. The followings are suggestions on what we should
do specifically: For example, being force-fed is a very painful torture. In many articles,
practitioners simply wrote that they were force-fed. They didn't include enough
description on the whole process of being force-fed, how painful they felt at
the time, and how painful they felt afterwards. Because of it, they were unable
to describe the depth of the evil. If we were placed in isolation and given
nothing to eat but watery soup, we should describe the soup, the small quantity
we were given each day, how long we were locked up in such a way, what kind of
additional abuse we received while locked up, and what happened to us
afterwards. If we were beaten, we should write down the names of the people that
beat us, what they said while beating us, what language they used to humiliate
us, the implements used to beat us, which body parts they hit, how long the
beatings lasted, the names, shapes and structures of the tools, how inhumane the
methods were, how much pain we felt while being beaten, and what happened to us
after we were beaten. We should also write down how much time passed before we
stopped feeling dizzy and regained the ability to walk or normal control of our
own bowel movements. Although certain police didn't beat us themselves, by
ordering inmates to humiliate, beat, and abuse us, they still committed the
crime of "causing harm to those that were in their custody." Therefore
we must also describe how we were beaten by criminal inmates under police
orders. (2) Even though some police didn't physically abuse us, they still extorted
money from our family members and us. We should also record these details. For
example, we should say how much money we were forced to hand over, how they
harassed and threatened us in order to get money from us, and what personal
property they took from us. If our family members were forced to host elaborate
banquets for them, we should write down how much money was spent. We should also
say whether we were physically forced into giving them money or just threatened
or deceived by the police. The magnificence of Dafa practitioners isn't manifested by enduring the evil
persecution. It is manifested by stopping the evil, opposing the evil, exposing
the evil, and saving everyone that can possibly be saved. Therefore, we should
not be confused by the fake acts of kindness of a small number of police
officers to the point where we feel we are being impolite if we expose their
evil actions. If we behave this way, we are being restrained by human
sentimentality. We can't think a certain person is good just because he treats a
small number of us well. How is that any different from the ordinary human
sentiment of saying someone is good because he treats us well and saying someone
is bad because he doesn't treat us well?
