1) At Chongyang Qilihu branch of Shayang Labor Education Center, Hubei Province, the 9^th Team uses many vicious means in attempt to try to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up their beliefs. Falun Gong practitioner Xiang Xiang was forced to go through brainwashing by collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have turned against Dafa due to brainwashing and torture]. She was cursed at, beaten, and was not allowed to sleep. Xiang Xiang went on hunger strike to protest and was forced fed. She was dragged across the burning hot cement floor under the sun, forced to do hard labor and was not allowed to sleep from time to time.

2) Falun Gong practitioner Liu Shenghua, doctor at the Chengxi County Hospital in Hunan Province, was illegally sent to labor camp for a year. Later he was sentenced for studying Teacher's lectures with fellow practitioners in July 2002. Currently he is locked up in Changde City Prison. In addition to forcing him to do labor on a farm, the police also regularly locked him up in a dark room. He has become emaciated and his condition is critical.

3) Falun Gong practitioner Xia Deyun from Shengli Oil Field in Dongying City, Shandong Province was illegally arrested by Binhai Public Security Bureau. On the Day of the Lantern Festival (February 5), the 9^th day of Xia Deyun's hunger strike, people from the Department of Geography of Shengli Oil Field, the "610 Office" and the Brainwashing Class of the Oil and Gas Consolidated Transportation Company sent Xia Deyun to Wang Village Labor Education Center in Shandong. She was not admitted there, so they then sent her somewhere else.

4) We are Li Ringxiang and Li Rizhen, sisters and Falun Gong practitioners from Quanyang Forest Bureau in Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province. On November 18, 2001 my sister and I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and were arrested on Tiananmen Square. We were detained at Qianmen Police Station, Mentougou Police Station, and Quanyang Police Station one after the other. I was locked up at Quanyang Police Station for a whole month and was ordered to pay 2,000 Yuan upon being released. I was also given two years on probation. During the 16^th Party Conference they came to arrest my sister and me, and planned to send us to the Baishan Brainwashing class. We were forced to leave home and travel from place to place to avoid the relentless persecution.

5) Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Wenfang from Tuquan County, Xing'an Area, Inner Mongolia, describes the persecution he suffered. I was illegally detained many times for upholding my belief in Falun Gong and validating Dafa. On February 21, 2001, I was sentenced to 1 year of "re-education" through forced labor and was sent to Tumuji Labor Education Center in Inner Mongolia. On November 30, 2001, under Teacher's protection I left the center two months early. The police extorted 3,000 Yuan from my eldest son. After I went home I recovered at once from the pain in my lower back caused by torture, and I joined the Fa-rectification activities again. Currently, I have had no choice but to lead a homeless life in order to avoid further persecution.

6) Ms. Gao Xiangbo, Falun Gong practitioner from Xinli Village, Handianzi County, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong twice. Each time she was detained and persecuted at Shuangcheng City Detention Center and had money extorted from her. All her money at home was used up, and she could not pay the debts even after selling her house. In April 2002, the authorities once again went to her home to arrest her. She was not at home at that time, and has since been forced to leave home, traveling from place to place for the past six months.

7) On January 28, 2004, Ms. Xia Deyun and fellow Falun Gong practitioners went to the brainwashing class at Shengli Oil Excavation Factory to visit Wang Shaohua, a Falun Gong practitioner who is under long-term detention. They were kidnapped and sent to the brainwashing class at Shengli Oil Field Consolidated Transportation Company for persecution. Xia Deyun went on a hunger strike to protest the brainwashing class. On the 6^th day of the hunger strike she was forced fed. On the 9^th day she was extremely weak. Despite her condition, she was transferred to Wang Village Labor Education Center in Shandong Province. She was not admitted there after the medical examination, so the officials took her to an unknown place for further persecution.

In December 2003, Ye Zhongqiu, a teacher at the 2^nd Middle School in Liaozhong County, clarified the truth about Falun Gong and exposed the facts of the persecution to her students. When Tian Fubao, the headmaster, was informed, he at once reported to the County Education Bureau and departments in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. They stopped Ye from teaching, monitored her closely and sent her to a brainwashing class. However, Tian Fubao soon suffered karmic retribution for actively persecuting Falun Gong. He was dismissed from his position at the beginning of the year 2004.
