In a Prison in Northeastern China, Dafa Practitioners Improve As a Whole Body and the Rate of "Transformation" Becomes Zero

(Clearwisdom.net) We are a group of Falun Dafa practitioners from Northeastern China. After experiencing persecution in a prison in Northeastern China, we were released when our term was fulfilled. Here we would like to share our experiences of resisting the persecution with righteous thoughts and righteous behavior while in detention.

In the prison, the guards utilized the common criminal inmates to monitor us closely. Any criminal could beat or abuse Dafa practitioners as they pleased. Some practitioners were bound for 24 hours a day. One practitioner's mouth was tied shut and the practitioner was forbidden from speaking. The guards also froze the practitioners' accounts and exerted tight financial control over them.

Falun Gong practitioners were constantly monitored, and in addition, we had to do 20 hours of forced labor each day. The guards would extend the working time late into the night. They tortured practitioners mentally and physically, attempting to break our spirits. One practitioner was bound to the bedside to force him to stand, and deprived of sleep for 15 days. After he was released he fell to the ground instantly. Even under such circumstances, most practitioners remained steadfast and did what a Dafa practitioner should do, improving the environment in the prison and in the process, frightening the evil.

Such was our mindset in detention: "We are validating the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts and eliminating the evil. We are eliminating the demon in the heart of the demon. At the same time, we are saving the sentient being in this evil place, saving those criminals who know nothing about Dafa. We leave our compassion with others, under extremely difficult circumstances; let each grass, flower, piece of wood and stone feel our righteous force." Even when the authorities would not allow us to speak, we continued to display the fairness of Dafa to criminals through our behavior. Below I will share some stories of Fa rectification that took place in that prison.

On the day that she arrived at the prison, one practitioner refused to answer roll call and shout the word "report" to the guards as every criminal was supposed to do. Therefore, the guards did not let her leave the jail cell. Facing the threats from the Party chief and his henchmen, she was as firm as a rock, greatly shocking the evil. Finally, the Party chief had to say, "You regard death as nothing! It is fine that you do not shout 'report'."

After a practitioner was brought to the prison, the police attempted to transform her by force ["transform" means to force someone to give up Falun Dafa]. Because the police refused to listen to her clarify the truth, she used her rationality and wisdom and asked to appeal her imprisonment and mistreatment in detention. This practitioner's righteous actions thwarted the transformation plan of the police. After a period of time, the police came to transform her again. The practitioner said, "I am innocent and should not have been sent to jail. I require myself to be greatly compassionate and to have great tolerance according to the standard of a Dafa practitioner. Since you want to transform me, I have to appeal on my own behalf. Please bring a pen and paper to me. I want to compose the materials for my appeal." The police officers were thus compelled to stop trying to transform her.

Falun Dafa practitioners were forced to be in a "three person action team" 24 hours each day. Among the three persons, two were common criminal inmates. These criminals, in order to decrease their term, tried their best to transform Falun Gong practitioners. However, our extraordinary behavior and high moral standard in any environment, along with our great compassion and great tolerance, deeply touched many criminals. They all came to think of Dafa practitioners as the only people that they could trust in the jail. So they would act in a way that would please the police on the surface but respected Dafa practitioners in their hearts. Some even said they would practice Falun Gong after being released. They said, "I have been 'transformed' by you."

A certain practitioner's firm belief in Dafa and her high moral behavior, far beyond that of an ordinary good person, gained the respect of all the prisoners around her. A few days before she was released, many prisoners hugged her and cried out, "please take me with you." Even a policewoman said to her, "I really do not want you to leave. If you want to go, please take me with you."

Because of the evil environment in the prison, one practitioner was "transformed." One day this practitioner realized that Teacher was still looking after her, so she resolutely wrote a solemn declaration, and returned to the road of Fa rectification. Her action made the rate of "transformation" at this prison become zero!

Immediately after this, we heard the news that the first chief of police for the prison had been diagnosed with cancer as a form of karmic retribution for his crimes, the second chief had been reassigned, and the third chief had also been reassigned to another location. We Falun Dafa practitioners told each other, "This is the result of our improvement as a whole body."

Fellow practitioners, the mysteries of Dafa keep displaying themselves to us. Every Dafa practitioner in the prison has moved from individual cultivation to Fa-rectification cultivation. We firmly believe that the wonderful moment when Fa-rectification reaches the human world will come soon. Let us step forward diligently on the path towards godhood! Eliminate all the evil and let all of the predestined sentient beings be saved!
