Dozens of Dafa Practitioners from Miyi County, Sichuan Province Tortured to Disability, Three to Death

From 1999 to December 2003 nearly 100 Falun Gong practitioners have been sentenced to forced labor, including Zhu Zhaojie, Xu Tianfu, Huang Tiancai, Li Huiqiong, Gao Longying (sentenced twice), Chen Zhengzhi (sentenced twice), He Furong, Liu Changhui, Su Lijuan, Zeng Mengfu, Li Qianyun, Jiang Congmeng, Zhou Shenghui, Chen Qirong, Zhang Yuanlin, Luo Shimei (sentenced twice), Yao Yuanfang, Yao Xiaoling, Yang Xingchun, Li Yonghui, Wang Mei, He Mingzhen, Bai Zhaoxia, Gong Zhihui, Que Faxiu, Lü Bo, and others.

From 1999 to 2003 about two dozen practitioners from Miyi County have been put into forced labor camps, including Zhou Shenghui, Xu Tianfu, Luo Jiangping, Fan Yuehai, Zeng Shihua, Wu Guifang, Wang Yuanpin, Song Shenghui, Zhang Hongying, Huang Xiankun, Li Yinqi, Fan Shengmei, Zhang Guochao, Liao Yuanfu (10 years), Zhu Zhaojie, Zhu Mingchun, Yang Shunfa, Que Faxiu, Zhuang Delin, Zhang Zhenghuan, Guo Guangxiu, Xu Bin, Liu Kunwu, etc.

Three practitioners from Miyi County were tortured to death, including practitioner Que Fazhi from Panlian Town in Lianhua, Gu Xingzhi from Guabang, and Yang Huiwen from Shaba.

Dozens of practitioners from Miyi County were tortured to disability, including Chen Zhengzhi, Huang Tiancai, Gong Zhihui, Que Faxiu, Zhu Zhaojie, Zhang Yuanlin, Wang Mei, Yang Shunfa, Fan Yuehai, and others.

Dozens of practitioners from Miyi County were forced to leave their homes to avoid persecution, including: Li Huiqiong, Peng Kaiju, Huang Mingyu, and others.

From 1999 to 2003, police in Miyi County searched over 100 practitioners' homes and confiscated their property.

In October 1999, some practitioners from Miyi County convened a Falun Dafa conference. Lawless personnel of Miyi County detained practitioners Zhu Zhaojie, Chen Dingyou, Fan Yuehai, Su Lijuan, Li Huiqiong, Yao Yuanfang, and Que Fazhi.

Responsible persons are Xiang Jinfa (former head of Political Security Section, now retired), Liao Hongbing (Political Security Section head), Yang Zihua (National Security Section head), Zhou Lin, Chai Faxiang (died of illness by retribution), and about a dozen others whose names are unknown.

In December 1999, the detention center of the Miyi Police Department detained more than 10 practitioners. They also forced practitioners to be photographed and videotaped. The photographs and video were shown on TV to slander Falun Gong. Detained practitioners included Zhu Zhaojie, Liao Yuanfu (now in Deyang Prison; according to a practitioner jailed in the same division, Liao Yuanfu has been put into confinement for several months now because he clarified the truth to prisoners), Xu Tianfu (now in Deyang Prison), Chen Zhengzhi (now in Nanmusi Labor Camp of Zizhong County), He Furong, Fan Shengmei (in Yangmahe Labor Camp of Jianyang County), Su Lijuan, Jiang Congmeng, Zeng Mengfu, Huang Tiancai, Wen Fupin, Yang Xingguo, Zhang Jun, Yang Xingmei, Ran Guanghui, Jin Chaozhen, and Gong Fujun, etc.

Because the practitioners above went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, they were put into detention centers. When they were released, they were taken to the brainwashing class organized by the township governments. Panlian Town had its wicked leader Chen Youjun pick up the practitioners.

From 1999 to 2003 police from the County Police Department, the Political Security Section, the custody center, and the detention center often verbally abused and beat up practitioners Zhu Zhaojie, Que Faxiu, Yang Shunfa, Zeng Mengfu, Zhuang Delin, Liao Yuanfu, and others, and the police would beat them not stop until they became too exhausted to carry on. A criminal prisoner from the same cell witnessed practitioner Fan Yuehai being beaten to unconsciousness. It was 10 minutes before he regained consciousness.
