Texas State Representative Jose Menendez Presents Resolution Commending Falun Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Texas State Representative Jose Menendez presented a resolution in commendation of all those involved with the practice of Falun Dafa for modeling the highest level of human behavior and for working to foster the experience of peace and harmony.

Whereas, Many Texans are among the millions worldwide who benefit from the Chinese practice of Falun Dafa; and

Whereas, Rooted in ancient oriental culture, Falun Dafa focuses on the principles of truth, compassion, and tolerance in daily life; a system of exercises and meditation, it was introduced publicly in China in 1992 and brought to the United States by founder Li Hongzhi in 1996; today, through the practice of Falun Dafa, individuals in more than 60 countries are enhancing their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being; and

Whereas, Since 1999, the government of the People's Republic of China has sought to stamp out Falun Dafa; its practitioners continue to respond nonviolently as they courageously preservere in the face of this oppression; at the same time, their contributions to an improved quality of life--by sharing the elements of Falun Dafa through seminars, workshops, and classes--have been recognized by communities around the globe; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That all those involved with the practice of Falun Dafa be commended for modeling the highest level of human behavior and for working to foster the experience of peace and harmony, and that they be extended sincere best wishes for continued success in the years ahead.
