The Jiang Regime Attempts to Poison the Minds of Overseas Chinese Students (Clearwisdom.net, February 1, 2004) I am a student who is currently
studying in England. Upon learning about the Jiang regime's cruel persecution of
Falun Gong, I hoped to do something so that people could understand the truth
about Dafa. However, I come from another country and have little experience in
doing this so I had no idea of what to do. There are more Chinese students who
have come to study at my college, many of whom do not understood Falun Gong very
well, nor do they understand the persecution. They also do not know about the
many different lawsuits launched against Jiang for his controlling part in the
instigation of this persecution. Therefore, I felt the need to tell them the
facts so that they could understand the persecution. I put together some self-made materials, Video-CDs, and a newspaper that
introduced Falun Gong. At that time, I thought of the college activities that
the Chinese students would be participating in and how they could be contacted
so that they could receive information in Chinese that would clarify the facts
about Falun Gong. When I contacted them, I came to know that they had some relationships with
the Chinese Embassy. The one that I talked to most told me that the Chinese
Embassy also frequently gave them Chinese newspapers to distribute to others.
They were newspapers containing propaganda articles and slanderous stories.
Apart from this, the Chinese Embassy also clearly indicated that if there was
some positive news about Falun Gong, then it was not to be distributed. If it
contained negative news about Falun Gong, then it's fine to distribute them.
They also said that freedom of speech is for foreigners, and Chinese are not
allowed to talk about freedom. In other ways, when overseas Chinese students
obtain newspapers in the college, they are still being poisoned by the fake news
from the Chinese media. I think the behavior of the Chinese Embassy should be exposed because what
they have done is sinister and it degrades the Chinese people. In addition, to
expose the efforts of the Chinese media in controlling the people can eliminate
the poison spread by Jiang's lies. Source: Posting date: 2/3/2004 |
