(Clearwisdom.net) Personnel in the Mainland China National Security Department and the "610 Office" have traced and bugged Dafa practitioners whom they have targeted for long periods of time [the "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems]. Methods they use include tapping land phones and cell phones, and the secret installation of bugging devices in some practitioners' homes.

Over the past several years, Dafa practitioners have become more mature; they have been able to maintain righteous thoughts and righteous actions and fully utilize various ways to validate the Fa in the ordinary human society without omission. Those persons who persecute practitioners by means of surveillance have said, "These practitioners (including very old ladies), when meeting with fellow practitioners, always take meandering routes, and so it is almost impossible for plainclothes policemen to follow them. When practitioners go out, rather than getting on buses at regular stops, they wave the buses down in the street to get on, thus making the plainclothes person afraid to keep following. Sometimes the plainclothes policemen can only call a cab or ride a motorcycle to follow the bus. The people following the practitioners do a hard but thankless job."

Practitioners now know that their phones are being tapped, and so they normally use pay phones. Sometimes, however, practitioners have been careless at home and they have very openly talked about situations in truth-clarifying material printing centers. So their conversations were picked up by the tapping device set up in their homes. The police and the "610 Office" then utilize this information when they attempt to extort a confession by torture.

The authorities often secretly set up an interrogation room, forbidding Dafa practitioners from sleeping, beating them brutally and using other means of torture. The evil scoundrels take turns deceiving and threatening practitioners. They would say things to the effect that they have already kidnapped someone, and this person has already told them all about the truth-clarifying production site (information they have only received from wire-tapping). If Dafa practitioners' minds are not clear during the torture, their ordinary people's thoughts might come up: "It looks like the evil has learned a lot; or maybe that someone really did tell everything, because only two of us know that information. Forget it, I will take the responsibility and put everything on my shoulders, so the evil doesn't go find other practitioners to make trouble." (On the surface this seems reasonable. However, in reality, the practitioner has already unknowingly cooperated with the evil). As a result, the evil has tricked the practitioner so that they have so-called "proof" of practitioners' activities, and as a result, the persecution is worsened or the evil will also intentionally spread the word that "this person has already confessed" to interfere in the process of validating the Fa.

When facing such deceitful methods, Dafa practitioners should only have righteous thoughts and righteous actions, and they should strictly follow the Fa principle of "do not cooperate with the evil" without omission. In this way, they will not be taken advantage of by police agents and "610 Office" personnel.
