Liver Cancer Patient Recovers after Twenty Days of Practicing Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) My mother is 79 years old and lives in a village in Hebei Province. She suffered for many years from diabetes and high blood pressure, and was often admitted to the hospital because of her diabetes. One year, she was in the hospital eight times. Every day, she needed an insulin injection. In September last year, she began to suffer from severe heartburn, she had a constant fever and her whole body turned yellow. She was put into the hospital for a check up. They found a large tumor in her liver and it started to cause pain. Doctors in the hospital thought that it was liver cancer and issued a critical illness notification.

We then took her to a few of the biggest hospitals and to one hospital that specializes in tumors for additional opinions. One of the big hospitals refused to admit her, despite giving her the B ultra scan. Their reason was that 'her cancer had already reached the last stage and there was no cure. At best, she would only live for three more months.

The other two hospitals diagnosed her as having liver cancer after performing the B ultra and CT scans and magnetic resonance imaging. The 'tumor caused bile to enter the body, causing the skin and the whites of the eyes to turn yellow. This condition made 'my mother's body extremely itchy and was unbearable. After a month in the hospital and intravenous injections every day to reduce the jaundice, she spent nearly forty thousand Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan]. However, it did not help much because her body was still yellow, she had a constant fever and she had no energy. The doctor said that having a low fever was a symptom of liver cancer. Finally, the hospital said that there was no cure for her and that we should satisfy her wishes for food since she could only live three more months.

We had heard before that some liver cancer patients recovered after practicing Falun Gong. Last year on November 20, she decided to practice Falun Dafa. I found the lecture cassette tapes of Master Li Hongzhi and she listened to them every day. After listening to the tapes for just over 10 days, the fever was gone and so was the pain from the tumor. Day by day, she became better. Soon she was able to go to the toilet by herself and get out of bed to eat. After about twenty days, basically all the jaundice was gone and she had no more pain. Also, her diabetes and high blood pressure were miraculously cured. She stopped taking the insulin and blood pressure medicine. All her sicknesses disappeared. By January 15, 2004, months have gone by, and not only has she not died, but now she lives like a normal person. She has never been this healthy in the past few years.

My mother now practices the exercises every day and is very steadfast in studying the Fa [law and principles]. Everyone in our family said, "Dafa is divine and we're very grateful that Dafa has saved us." Now my whole family practices Falun Gong.
