Jilin Prison Covers Up Its Crime of Torturing Liu Chengjun to Death to Deceive the Public

Chengjun to death, the notorious Jilin Prison in Jilin Province came up with new
tricks. They brought in reporters from the local television station to boast
without restraint about how good the prison was, how well they treated criminals
and how they cared about Falun Gong practitioners, etc. They also interviewed
some pre-arranged criminals and so-called "transformed" practitioners
to fabricate stories in order to keep the truth from being known. In addition,
they brought in the public for a guided tour, locking up all practitioners in
the small cells and in the "strict class" under surveillance by 5-6
criminals. The public tends to be fooled by the farce. Since Liu Chengjun's case
and the prison's other atrocities have been exposed, authorities were fearful.
They blocked all outgoing information and further punished Falun Dafa
practitioners being held there. The details are as follows. Mr. Wang Jingang was sent to a strict class to coerce him into writing a
"Solemn Declaration" [A statement written by Falun Dafa
practitioners who went through brainwashing to declare that the so-called
"Three Statements" - Repentance Statement, Guarantee Statement and
Dissociation Statement --to renounce their faith in Falun Dafa under
brainwashing and torture be declared invalid]. The same thing happened to
Mr. Zhang Chunyu, Wang Juncheng, and Liang Zhenxing for holding a hunger strike.
Mr. Tan Qiucheng from the No. 5 Brigade was subjected to a torture called
"Stretching Bed" [The four limbs of the practitioner are stretched
out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner
cannot move at all. Neither is he allowed to get up to eat, drink, or use the
bathroom. This treatment lasts from several hours to more than a dozen days.
This cruel torture causes severe damage to the practitioner both mentally and

Wu Yifeng was also subjected to the torture of the "Stretching Bed"
for refusing to write the "Four Statements." Mr. Zheng Weidong from
